New Year's hand-craft: herringbone with her hands from fleece to the 2015 contest, crafts for the new year 2016 with her own hands
I've been thinking about a big Christmas tree for the wall for a long time and now it's finally happened!
You can use it as a New Year's Eve calendar if you sew on number buttons instead of red ones.
How to sew a Christmas tree: Cut out the base (I can’t draw at all, I sewed it using Zhenya Ershova’s pattern).
I cut out pockets. I sewed buttons and leaves onto the pockets.
Then I sewed the top pocket along the bottom to the base.I sewed leaves on the tree between the pockets. I took a thicker piece of padding polyester, put it under the base and sewed a wavy ribbon. In this way I secured the padding polyester to the base so that it wouldn't slip.
There are pockets in the tree, you can put them in themgifts or a letter from Santa Claus. Inside the tree there is a layer of padding polyester for volume. On top there is velcro fabric to attach the star with Velcro. I put fleece on the back side and sewed it along the edge with an overlock stitch by hand. Well, then I sewed the remaining buttons and sequins through and through. That's all.
