Christmas tree: a big ball on a city tree for the 2015 contest, New Year's crafts by own hands
Our New Year's craft - Christmas tree toy-ball decorates a tall Christmas tree in the park. Happy New Year to all!
The work was created spontaneously and urgently.My son needed to make a craft for a large Christmas tree in the school park. A Chinese lantern-chandelier (ball) was used as a basis. I decided to tie the ball with household threads for knitting washcloths, because simple threads would get wet outside and the frame would not withstand the weight and break. The ball is tied with air chains in a "fishing net" pattern and decorated with 3 flowers. Unfortunately, I did not take pictures of the tying process itself. Thank you for your attention!
