Create a craft in the form of a rose with your own hands from cotton pads with a detailed description of the product and photos
We transform cotton pads into elegant ones with our own handsroses If your loved ones have a holiday ahead, and you haven’t decided what to give, make an original gift with your own hands. Cotton pads available in almost every home can easily be turned into a craft in the form of a pretty rose on a brown stem with green foliage. For the product you will need:
- cotton wool (packing)
- creped paper (brown and green)
- glue
- scissors
- wooden skewers
- foam sponge
- gouache (orange and red hue).
If you already have all of the above at hand, start making a gift.
- Lubricate the skewer with glue and place on a prepared cotton pad. After wrapping the cotton wool around the skewer, press it firmly so that the glue can grasp well.
- Place another cotton pad on this blank, thus creating the bud of our flower. Following the described technology, wind 7 – 8 discs that form the head of the rose.
- For the sepals, cut out some kind of “country fence” from green crepe paper.
- Giving the corners a “fence” natural leaf shape, wrap it around the finished flower head.
Now let's move on to making the stem.
- From brown paper cut out a thin, long strip.
- Moving in a spiral, wind it on a wooden skewer. Start the stripes near the bud, and fix the end at the bottom of the skewer with a small drop of glue.
Let's take care of the foliage.
- From green crepe paper, cut out jagged leaves, which are usually found in roses.
- Using glue, carefully fasten them on the stem.
Finally, let's work a little gouachepaints, which will give the edges of the petals a natural color of the flowers. It is best to do this with a sponge, which in this case will replace a brush. That's it, your present is ready. You can also decorate the core of rosesbeads. If you have rose-scented perfume in your house, don't forget to spray it on your product. And if the eau de toilette in the bottle runs out, you can use it as an original vase.
