Easter egg in the technique of quilling at the Spring 2016 Competition, simple postcards with own hands
We have created wonderful crafts for the holiday of Bright Easter with our own hands. Such cards will decorate the festive table or Easter cards can be given to friends and relatives. To create a postcard we will need colorcardboard, quilling paper, glue, felt-tip pens. First, outline the shape of an egg on a piece of cardboard, then cut out the silhouette of the egg. This will be the basis of the entire work, now we begin to decorate the card. Let's start with the flower, its stem consists of half a ribbon. The leaves consist of a full ribbon twisted into a drop shape, there should be approximately two stages. The middle of the flower is a full ribbon that is twisted into a tight roll, when you roll this part, pull the tip of the paper blank as much as possible. The petals of this beautiful flower are made of a full ribbon twisted into a drop shape. There should be approximately five of them. Now we move on to creating the grass on which the butterfly sits. We make the lower part of a large blade of grass. To do this, take a quarter of the ribbon and glue its edges to the middle of the ribbon and glue it in the form of an arrow that looks down, then we make the upper part of a large blade of grass. In addition, we will need a quarter of the tape and twist it to the middle. Here is the grass on the postcard ready. Now we proceed to the creation of the butterfly, its body consists of a full tape, twisted into a rounded shape like the butterfly's eye. The head of the insect in the quilling technique consists of a dense twisted element, and the antennae from a fifth of the tape. The butterfly wing consists of two parts, while the upper part of the butterfly wing is made of a full tape, twisted into a drop shape, for this you squeeze the twist with your fingers. so that such an atypical shape comes out. The lower part of the wing is made exactly the same as the upper part. And the second butterfly, which sits opposite this butterfly with grass, is made similarly. At the bottom of the postcard, you can glue a piece of paper with the inscription Christ is Risen! You can decorate the work with rhinestones and beads, then the work will be brighter and more interesting.
