Stand for hot stones
In foreign online stores can be foundcute stand for hot dishes, decorated with small stones. They are quite expensive, but it does not matter, since they can be made independently. 
For this you need to collect flat thin stones(on the beach somewhere) and rinse thoroughly. After that, you can glue them on any suitable substrate, whether it's heat-resistant rubber, an ordinary wooden mat or something. The main thing is that the pebbles are smooth and of approximately the same height, otherwise it will be extremely inconvenient to put dishes on them.
