This master class will teach you how to make a gift for your mom with your own hands - a paper panel.
Today I offer you a craft, withwhich even a child can handle. However, he will need perseverance and patience, since the product is quite labor-intensive. But the result will please - an original panel in a frame made of origami modules will be a worthy gift for your beloved mother on her holiday.To create a flower panel you will need:
- paper - white (A4) and colored paper of the same format (I have red);
- colored cardboard, for example, burgundy;
- colored corrugated paper - raspberry and green;
- ribbon and stitch on the sticky layer;
- a knife for stationery paper, scissors, glue, thread with a needle, a pencil and a ruler.
You can choose other color combinations,which your mother loves, I was guided by the fact that red is the color of love. First, we need to make a frame from origami modules. In my case, I needed 36 white and 9 red ones. No special measurements are required, by folding and cutting one A4 sheet, you get 16 rectangles. I had to cut them out of colored paper, measuring with a ruler, because the size of the colored sheet differed from the standard. By the way, it’s okay if the colored paper is one-sided – only one side is visible in the finished module. So, the required number of rectangles is cut, let's start folding the modules. Place the rectangle in front of you.Fold it over itself once.
Fold it in half again like this.
We bend the sides to the center line.
Turn the workpiece over.
Bend the tails upwards.
We bend the corners along the side lines.
We straighten the tails and tuck the corners inward.
Once again we bend the tails inward and fold the module along the central line. It is ready.
And this is how you need to make morefour dozen small modules-corners, which are put into each other! I alternated the modules: 4 white - 1 red - 4 white, etc. In my case, the template was a camera cap - a round object (a jar, a glass) is needed to align the resulting round frame.
Then we need to cut out the cardboard for the base so that it does not stick out to the sides. To draw the circle most accurately, I used a compass.
We glue the frame to the base circle.
And immediately glue a ribbon by which the panel can be hung.
Now we start decorating our panel. I decided to make a flower from raspberry corrugated paper. I cut out three narrow strips (the folds of the sheet go lengthwise) 3-3.5 cm long.
We round off the edges of the strips.
Twist each strip slightly in the middle.
We form a six-petal flower and secure it with a thread and needle so that the flower is firmly fixed.
Cut out 3 carved leaves from a strip of green corrugated paper.
Let's try on a composition of a flower and leavespanel. I like that the composition "crawls" a little onto the frame. If there are not enough details, you can make more flowers and leaves, but for my craft you don't need more.
We glue the composition to the base.
We decorate our flower in the center with a rhinestone on sticky tape, at the same time covering the thread.
This is such a cute and original craft we got. It is quite possible to congratulate mom or grandma on International Women's Day. All that is missing is heartfelt words and tender kisses!
