A detailed master class on weaving a hyacinth flower from beads, step-by-step photos and job description
In this article we suggest weaving a flowerbeaded hyacinth. This unusual and beautiful gift of nature has been known for a very long time. Many legends and tales have been composed about it. There are sad ones, for example, the Greek legend about the young man Hyacinth, the favorite of the god Apollo. Beautiful flowers grew on the spot where drops of the young man's blood fell. And there are life-affirming beliefs, for example, in the East hyacinths were called "curls of houris". Here they believed that women learned to curl their hair when they saw these flowers. In order to weave a hyacinth flower from beads, you will need very little skill and a lot of patience and time. Its creation requires perseverance, since you will need to weave many small details, which will eventually become a beautiful beaded flower. Hyacinths in nature are completely different: white, purple, pink. You can weave a flower of any color you like.You will need:
- Beads 11/0 (we have pink for petals), yellow for stamens and green for leaves;
- Wire in tone beads;
- Green threads floss (+ glue) or floret ribbon green;
- A small container where our flower will grow;
- Decorative stones or soil.
We start weaving with petals.For each you will need a piece of wire approximately 25 - 30 cm long. String 24 beads onto the wire, placing them closer to the center of the wire. Pass one end of the wire through the 14 beads at the beginning. Tighten the wires so that the two beaded parts are next to each other.String another 10 - 12 beads onto one of the wire tails and place this string between the others, as in the photo. Twist the wire tails together a couple of turns.We got one petal.In order to make a beautiful flower, we need a lot of such blanks. The number of petals is a multiple of 6. We suggest making 180 pieces. Let's move on to weaving the stamens. For each center (of 3 stamens), you will need a piece of wire 25 cm long. Weave with yellow beads. String 1 bead on the wire and place it in the center. Twist the wire, securing the bead and continue twisting the two ends of the wire for another 0.7 - 1 cm.String another bead onto one of the tailsyellow and place it at such a distance from the first one so that after twisting the wires they are on wire twists of the same length. Do the same with the third bead. You get 1 middle.If you decide to make 180 petals, thenIt is necessary to weave 30 such cores, since each flower has 6 petals. Now we will weave the blanks into flowers. To do this, we connect together 2 adjacent wire tails from two petals and string 8 beads on them. Now we attach another petal and take one wire tail from this petal and one from the one already connected to the first petal.We connect all 6 petals in the same way.We string the last 8 beads on the second wire of the sixth petal and the first wire of the first. Now we insert the core of three stamens into the center of the flower and twist all the wires.We form all the flowers in a similar manner.There will be 30 of them. Now we will weave the leaves for the hyacinth. They are made using the French arc technique. For a leaf, you will need an axis 14 cm long. You can weave without cutting the wires from the spool, having previously made a string of green beads approximately 1.5 m long for each leaf. String green beads 10 cm long onto the axis.Perform 3 - 4 pairs of arcs.The working wire is perpendicular to the axis. Try to press the arcs as close to the axis and to each other as possible. Weave 4 - 5 leaflets. To prevent them from falling apart, you can sew additional wires across the leaflets in several places.Let's move on to the final stage -assembly. Attach 4 flowers to 1 flower in a circle. These 5 pieces are the top of the flower. Make several turns of winding the flor with a ribbon or green floss. If you use threads, do not forget to glue the beginning and end of the winding. Attach the next circle of 6 flowers, etc., almost at the very end, attach the leaves.At the end, make a loop of wire and secure the hyacinth in the pot. Decorate with decorative soil, pebbles or any other elements you like.
