Its quality and originality at times makes it necessary to stop its choice on it, rather than on a gold chain with a pendant. Firstly - because of the price, and secondly - because of its exclusivity. Not very long ago, my attention was attracted by brooches made of felt and simple metal zippers. These ornaments look very unusual and worthy. The idea of ​​making such a brooch was just following me. And now, finally, it happened. I will say right away, I experienced the pleasure of work just great. I hasten to share this skill with you. The work at first glance is simple, but it is not. You will need assiduity, accuracy, attentiveness. I suggest starting with a simple brooch called "Orange". To make a brooch it is necessary to have:

• felt (preferably thick);
• scissors;
• thread under the color of felt;
• iron lightning;
• base for brooch;
• glue.

First we prepare the lightning. We cut the braid to the teeth. That's what we need. The cut edge should be scorched so that it does not dissolve and spoil the look of the product. Usually the braid of lightning is synthetic, so there should not be any problems with this. Well, the lightning is ready for use. It is better to take the lightning more authentic, so that it is enough for an entire orange and do not have to add individual pieces. I took 90 cm. Then we draw on the felt a circle with an internal curl. For drawing, you can use a white pencil or a crayon. Cut out a circle and a curl along the contour. To our lightning was not tight, cut a little felt along the entire curl, we get gaps. We do the fitting. We carry the zipper along the whole curl. If everything is fine and does not pull anything together,proceed to assembly. We take the thread in the tone of the felt, I have an orange, and we begin to gently sew the zipper to the felt. Passing the thread through the teeth, try to make the stitches and intervals the same, then the stitches will look decorative. I made stitches every 2 zippers. We continue to sew the zipper all over the curl andcontour of orange. After that, we make another decorative turn around the orange. He should lie free and be attached to the base only in two or three places. From the remaining lightning on the top of the orange we form a curl and fasten it with threads. Cut and green felt leaf. In the process of work, I realized that using thick felt or cloth, you can do without sewing, and fix the zipper with super glue. This I did on the example of leaflets. We decorate the leaves with embroidered veins. We paste the leaves to the orange. In my opinion it turned out very lively and beautiful. This is how the wrong side looks. Finally, glue to the wrong side of the felt and the base for the brooch. Such a brooch can well decorate a coat orstole. My advice: if you are making a brooch made of fine felt, choose some harder material for the base. Such a brooch should not bend, it must keep its shape.
