A detailed master-class will show you how to make your own hands a New Year's hand-made snowman

How can you celebrate the New Year without Santa Claus?and his assistant Snowman? Of course, this is not acceptable, because our children always expect the appearance of these main holiday heroes! Well, we, parents, are simply obliged to create all the conditions for a real magical celebration. That is why in this master class I decided to show you a simple lesson on sewing a snowman with a broom. This cheerful boy will make us adults believe in miracles, believe me!To create such a cute snowman with a broom we will need:

• Fleece white;
• Hollofiber or silicone;
• A piece of knitted striped fabric;
• Strand of natural wool of red color;
• Needle for felting;
• Paint for fabric orange;
• Transparent glue;
• Decorative buttons;
• Black seed beads;
• Yarn;
• Wooden stick;
• Scissors.

When all the material is ready, we move on to the actualwork process. And we'll start with the pattern. On a separate piece of paper, draw all the details of the snowman. We indicate their number. If it is very difficult for you to draw such details, you can print the photo below on an A4 sheet or simply redraw the details by placing paper on the monitor. Circle everything strictly along the contour.Let's prepare fleece for the body. We fold it in two layers, face inward.Then we will lay out the paper parts of the body and bottom on the laid out material. We pin them with sewing pins.We cut out two parts of the body and one part of the bottom with small allowances.We chop off the parts of the body with pins along the side sections.We carefully sew the parts together using machine stitching.Using the tips of scissors, make notches along the width of the allowances in rounded areas.We pin the bottom part to the lower section of the body with pins.Using hand stitches, we baste the bottom to the body.We sew the lower part to the body with a machine stitch, leaving a small open area for turning.Through the hole left, turn the snowman’s body right side out. We fill the upper part of the body with holofiber, conditionally dividing it into three parts.Using hand stitches, we sew the body (upper part) with basting stitches in a circular manner.Pull the basting thread tightly. We pull it over the upper part of the body and fix it in this position with hand stitches.We continue to fill the middle part of the body with holofiber. We also stitch it in a circle using hand stitches and also tighten the thread. We fix the middle part.Now we completely fill the snowman’s body with holofiber.We sew up the open area using hand-invisible stitches.We cut out the arms and legs of the snowman. We pin the paper parts with pins.Let's transfer the contours of the parts onto the fleece. We sew them with a machine stitch and cut out the parts of the legs and arms with small allowances. We leave holes on the handle parts for turning.We wrap the open sections on the legs inward by 0.5 cm. We fill them with a sharp wooden stick.We fill the arms and legs with holofiber, but not tightly. Using hand stitches, we sew up the open areas on the arms and legs.We pin the arms to the body with pins. We sew on the handles using invisible hand stitches.We pin the legs to the bottom of the body with pins. We also sew them on with hand stitches.We will make the eyes from black beads.For the spout we use a wooden toothpick. We paint the tip orange. Let it dry.While the nose dries, sew on the eyes.We pin a small strand of wool hair onto the head with pins. Using a special felting needle, we roll the hair to the head. We make a forelock in front.Cut off the spout to the required length. We dip the cut end into transparent glue and insert the spout into place.We pin decorative buttons in the center of the front. Sew them on with red thread.From the leftover wool we will make a broom for the snowman. Take a wooden stick and a piece of wool.We tie the wool to the stick with ordinary threads.Let's apply a light blush to the snowman's face.We'll tie a bright scarf around our neck.We embroider a smile with red thread. The snowman is ready.And now our desired fairy-tale character is ready andwaiting in the wings!
