How to crochet a poppy flower of lilac color? Detailed description of the stages of work, a list of materials and step-by-step photos
Crochet flowers are so varied andby color scheme, and by knitting technique, and by shape. In this master class we will knit a lilac poppy. This flower can become either one of the components of a knitted bouquet of flowers, or a wonderful addition to a sweater or coat. It can be used as a brooch. And if this flower does become a brooch, then you will only need to sew on the back fittings, which are not difficult to find in handicraft stores.
Materials and tools
- Yarn lilac, light green and dark blue;
- Hook;
- Threads with a needle.
Stages of work
The poppy is knitted quite simply.Even a beginner can knit it. And it takes about forty minutes or even less to knit this flower. However, despite this, the flower turns out voluminous and elegant. First, we will make a lilac-colored sliding loop. And in it we will knit six single crochet stitches. Now we need to make increases so that the knitting expands and becomes larger. In the second row, we will make six increases, that is, we will knit two stitches in each loop. And in the next two rows, we will also make six increases. At the end of the increases, we should have twenty-four stitches. But if the flower needs to be knitted larger, then the initial circle must also be knitted larger. And accordingly, the number of the following rows must also be increased.Now we will knit two air loops.These loops will replace one double crochet in our knitting, since further knitting will be done with double crochets. In each loop in the previous row we will knit three double crochets.
We go to the end of the row. Our flower will begin to take shape. Waves will appear. We will connect the knitting with the top of the air chain at the very beginning of the row.
Again we will knit two air loops and do the sameThen we knit three double crochet stitches in each loop in the previous row in a circle. We straighten it out and shape it into a flower. This is the fluffy flower we should end up with.
Now we need to knit the core for the poppy. It will be green, so take green yarn. Wind it five or six times on your index finger.
Let's remove and start tying this large loop with single crochet stitches. We will insert the hook inside the ring and crochet the stitches.
Next we will knit single crochet stitches in a circle.until the hole in the middle is almost invisible, that is, until it closes. We will always insert the hook into this hole. On one side, the knitting will look like this:
And on the other hand, the core will look like this:
The side that turns out convex will befront, and the second side, respectively, the back. In the event that you knit a larger flower, then the core should be made larger. And wind it not on the index finger, but, for example, on the thumb or on some object of a larger diameter. Next, we will take dark blue or black threads and begin to knit three double crochets in each loop, which we have on the second side of the core. At the very beginning, we will attach the thread and knit, as usual, two air loops, replacing the double crochet.
This is what we get at the end of knitting.
Let's make some veins of the same color asbinding of the green part of the core. In this case it is dark blue. Just pass the thread through the middle and on the sides. You should not make many veins. Five or six will be quite enough.
All that's left is to sew our core into the middle of our flower. And this is the poppy we get at the end of the work!
