The very first brooches were claws and fangs of animals, thorny plants. Today we will do a very original thing in the technique of imitation knitting from plastic. A brooch made of polymer clay is made in the form of a heart with a button. It is necessary:

Polymer clay (color entirely depends on your preferences);
A little liquid polymer clay;
Acrylic (can be glass) rolling pin or paste machine;
Extruder;
Shapes (in the form of a heart (suitable for baking) and for pugovichek (use caps from markers or any other detail);
Hairpin-base under the brooch;
Toothpicks;
Acrylic paints;
Brush;
Matt lacquer for polymer clay;

Before you get started, you need tocarefully clean the surface on which we will make our brooch. Polymer clay is very sensitive to prints and debris. Now we knead clay to a plastic and soft state and pass through an extruder. We take a thin nozzle. We got noodles. Now we connect them in pairs and one pair twists along the clockwise direction, and the second pair of noodles from the clay is twisted against the arrow. We need a few such flagella. Now we cut out a square from the clay layer,we roll it on a stamp or mold with the drawing you like. We put a pin on the cooled blank from the back side, we put liquid plastic on our square with a stamp and paste to the brooch. This square acts as a "patch". We fix the second button and again we send it to the oven. When the brooch will cool it will be possible to cover it with acrylic paint. Carefully paint all the depressions. Now you need to wait a little while the paint is a little dry, take a wet wadded disc (wet napkin) and wipe off the excess ink from the brooch. You can even use fine sandpaper. We cover with opaque transparent varnish and the brooch is ready.
