This magic plant is very often used as a model, the creators of various ornaments. And since recently handmade products are becoming more popular, craftsmen and needlewomen create acorns, leaves and twigs from a wide variety of materials. One of them is polymer clay. It is a wonderful plastic material that has many colors and shades. There is baked polymer clay and self-hardening (cold porcelain, Deko). Jewelry is made of thermoplastic because it is more durable. So, let's start creating a brooch made of polymer clay in the form of an oak leaf. It will take:

Black and copper baked plastic;

When the workpiece is again cooled off, gently cutblack clay on the sides. The angle of the knife is 45 °. With clay, remove the clay completely. It is necessary to act very carefully so as not to cut off all the clay baked on the wire. We glue on the black side of the pin for the brooch with the help of instant glue. Thermoplastic copper color carefully kneaded and rolled out a layer of approximately 1.2 mm. Cut out two holes for fastening. We glue the surface of the leaf with glue next to the clasp and glue the layer of copper clay, passing the ears of the hairpins into the holes that we cut out. Carefully ensure that no air bubbles appear between the black and copper thermoplastic. Trim excess clay. Smooth the edges so that the copper clay covers the black brooch on the sides.
