How to make dummies of fruits and vegetables with your own hands

Creating models of fruits and vegetables isa great idea for crafts with their own hands with children. You and the children will be able to use these decorative figures for games, as decorations for the home puppet theater, especially if not limited only to fruits and vegetables. Also, if you want to add a few bright colors to your interior, the models will be a wonderful addition and decoration for your kitchen or any other room. I want to give you four wayscreating a dummy "papier mache". 1. We need: Newspaper Clay (you can use flour with water instead of glue) Foil Colored paper (cigarette, corrugated) Adhesive tape (adhesive tape) First we need to crumple the newspaper, and create the shape of the desired object. Then fix the newspaper with foil and, if necessary, scotch tape. Next, we apply layers of newspaper and flour with water (orglue), when the desired shape is ready, let it dry. For the convenience of carrying out the latest manipulations, you can puncture the fruit with a thin wooden (bamboo) skewer and thus, holding the fruit on a stick, you will be handier to apply layers of glue and newspaper. When the form withers, we will begin to glue the colored paper to it until it reaches the desired shade. 2. We need: Newspaper Clay (you can use flour with water instead of glue) Fruits you are going to copy Colors (better use gouache) and brushes We will do about the same as in the first method, only for the accuracy of the execution of the desired shape, we will use the fruit or vegetable. For example, to make an apple, we take a real apple and apply glue and a newspaper to it. When everything is dry, we cut our figurine along a sharp knife, take out the fruit from the middle, and glue the edges together with glue. We will only have to paint the figure. 3. As a basis, you can use a wire frame or polystyrene. 4. Drying. This method is suitable for such vegetables as patisson, pumpkin and the like. To make them a dummy, you need to wash them thoroughly and put them in the sun. At least once a day, vegetables need to be turned over. The model will be ready in about 1,5 - 2 weeks.
