Probably, many people start the morning with a cupa fragrant drink - coffee. Someone brings him to bed, and someone drinks coffee already at work. But no doubt it invigorates, warms and makes our life every day a little bit better, sweeter and more fragrant. The homeland of coffee is considered Ethiopia, or rather Kaffa - a mountainous area in the south-west of the country. It is from the name of the area and the name of the drink. When exactly the first cup of this elixir of vivacity was born for certain is unknown. Like many wonderful inventions of mankind, which have come down to us from the depths of centuries, coffee is surrounded by numerous myths, legends and legends. One of them tells of a peasant grazing goats. He noticed that animals, having eaten fruits and leaves of one plant, became unusually vigorous and active. The abbot of the monastery, to whom the shepherd told about the "dancing goats", began to use a decoction of leaves and shrubbery fruits, to help the monks who performed service duties in the temple at night. From Ethiopia, coffee enters Yemen, as in the 6th century AD. he was under her authority. Gradually the whole East is filled with the aroma of coffee. A wonderful drink is drunk in coffee shops, it is believed that coffee gives warriors the strength in campaigns, and philosophers are endowed with wisdom. In the 13th century, a dry shell of coffee beans was used to prepare the drink. The drink turned out to be a weak, pale yellow color. After several decades, the idea of roasting a shell and a small amount of inner peel on the coals, and only in the 16th century, the frying began to be directly subjected to grain. After that they were crushed and poured into boiling water. Then the drink acquired a fortress, a color, and a fragrance. The cooking technology begins to be improved - spices have been added to coffee beans: cinnamon, cloves, amber, cardamom and sugar make the drink truly delicious. Appears jezva - a special dish for making coffee. The wandering of coffee around the world was full of adventure. The Muslim clergy was greatly alarmed by the fact that instead of prayers people spent time in coffee shops, leading leisurely conversations over a cup of a fragrant drink. In the early 16th century, the ruler of Mecca even ordered the closure of coffeehouses. But it could not stop the coffee. He got to Turkey and became so popular that here, too, decided to ban coffee shops and coffee. However, the crowd of fans of the fragrant drink grew. They say it was the cafes of Istanbul that became the progenitors of the cafe, which we know now. In Europe, coffee came along with the Turkish war. After the removal of the siege of Vienna, Suleiman's troops hurriedly leaving the territory, left most of the provisions, including coffee. So the Europeans learned about this wonderful drink, and then the rest of the world. Like many wonderful things that have come down to us from a long time, coffee beans are used not only for making drinks and desserts. The needlewomen use them to create beautiful and original handicrafts. Pictures, panels and frames for photos, topiary and "floating" spill cups become souvenirs, stylish elements of the decor of the room and just nice presents to coffee lovers. Coffee material is quite expensive, and if you use only the best Arabica, robusta and mocha courts to create a drink or a delicious and fragrant dessert, then the most inexpensive grains will make the crafts. In this article, we will create cups of coffee from various grains in different varieties: vases, paintings, panels, topiary and much more. Vase in the form of a mug with a handle of coffee beans This hand-crafted article can be used as a vase,stand for pencils, paperweight and just an unusual decorative solution for the living room, kitchen or dining room. It will no doubt please your friend and admirer of coffee. Materials and tools:
- A large mug with a handle;
- Coffee beans;
- The thread is thick (yarn for knitting "jeans" from yarn art);
- Coffee-colored paint;
- Glue (glue gun).
To begin with, it is necessary to glue the whole cup tightly with cotton wool along with the handle. We do not seal the bottom. Then, tightly and tightly wrap the entire cup with threads. Now paint the brown surface with discs. We wait until the paint dries and carefully glue the coffee beans in two layers, so that there are no visible gaps. If desired, we decorate with lace or ribbons. No less original will look like a small picture, decorated with coffee beans. Panel with a cup of coffee beans In the following master class we show instep-by-step photo, how to make the cup for the picture. Variants of the frame you can think of yourself, as fantasy tells or draw ideas from the photos below. Materials and tools;
- Plastic bottle (it is exactly the ordinary equal, in such usually they sell mineral water without gas);
- Scotch tape (paint and plain);
- PVA glue;
- Brush and scissors;
- Cardboard 2 mm thick (necessarily pressed);
- Coffee (ground and cereal).
From the bottle cut off a little less than half of the top. We will need only the upper part. We cut it into two parts along. Narrow neck with a lid, we also do not need. We have one half in the hands, resembling a cup in shape. From a piece of cardboard we cut out the semicircle for the bottom and the flat back of the cup, which we attach to the panel. We glue all parts of the cup and wrap allpainting tape. Now from the cardboard you need to cut the workpiece under the saucer. It is a narrow crescent. Carefully bend it, as shown in the photo. To ensure that on the cardboard is not formed ugly kinks, use it pressed cardboard. Now cover our workpieces with PVA glue and cover with ground coffee. This will avoid light gaps between coffee beans in the future. When the preforms dry, we begin to glue the seeds with an adhesive gun. When the glue dries, we will onlydecorate with a hand-made picture or a panel. As additional decor elements you can use cinnamon sticks, dried citrus slices, anise flowers and much more. You can also use coffee to frame the pictures.
Topiary "Coffee Cup-Strait"
Another version of crafts with coffee beansis a topiary. It is very fashionable in the modern world design element for interior decor. A few dozen years ago, the topiary was a concern for gardeners only, because, in fact, it was a decorative tree. Topiary, as the idea originated in ancient Rome. Topiaryas at that time called special slaves, who cut and looked after trees, giving them various shapes. However, in the modern world, designers have created a completely unique option, not requiring haircuts, watering and other agrotechnical care - they came up with an artificial topiary. In this article, we propose to make an unusual and aromatic topiary with coffee beans in the form of a saucepan. There are many ways to create such crafts, as well as ways to decorate and decorate it. Materials and tools:
- Coffee beans;
- Coffee cup and saucer (choose light and small objects);
- Thick wire is 5 mm in cross section about 20 cm in length;
- Instant adhesive for joining parts and transparent glue (the crystal will be suitable for fastening coffee beans;
- Acrylic paint brown (closer to coffee) colors;
- Alcohol and cotton pad for surface degreasing;
- Material for creating a volumetric flow (in this master class, mounting foam);
- Stationery knife;
- Elements of decor (cinnamon sticks, anise flowers, dried citrus slices, any decoration for your taste).
From one end of the wire we measure 7 cm and turn into a ring. Arrange it almost perpendicularly to the rest of the wire. From the second end measure 4 cm and bend (see photo). Saucer rub with alcohol and on low-fatApply a wide ring to the surface of the wire with a quick glue. Leave for a while for the construction to "grasp". Time will depend on which glue you have chosen. Now take and rub with alcohol the inner surface of the cup. For the next stage of the work, we will need support. We put glue on the cup and glue the bent wire. As a support can act a box of suitable height or any other thing of the right size. We support our workpiece and wait until the glue froze. This can take from a few hours to a day. When the workpiece dries, the cup should hold tight. When everything dried up you can slightly correcttilt the wire part so that the future jet looks more organically. The next stage is the creation of the volume of this jet itself. In this master class, mounting foam was used. As it grows very much in volume, it needs to be applied quite a bit. To freeze the foam, you also need time, about a day. After it freezes, superfluous cut with a clerical knife (see photo). It should be remembered that the jet will be thicker by covering its coffee beans, so cut off the extra braver.
- We will interrupt the master class for a short while and talk aboutother ways to form a volume for the coffee jet. A good option is the use of mass for modeling. It does not even need to be trimmed, since you immediately form the jet from the right amount of raw material and correct the shape directly in the process of modeling. You can also use paint tape. It is very convenient for them to wind the wire. This method also does not require additional correction. The number of layers of winding is easy to adjust the "puddle" of coffee, which will spread over the saucer.
When you cut off all unnecessary, cover the mounting foam with paint. This is necessary to ensure that white foam does not appear through the gaps between the grains. It remains only to glue with transparent glue typethe moment the crystal coffee beans and the spill cup are almost ready. The use of such glue is explained by the fact that it "grasps" not instantly, but after a couple of minutes. This will allow you to choose the optimal position for each grain. Now it remains only to glue the decorative elements and our topiary from the coffee beans is ready. Pictures from coffee beans Picture "hot cup of coffee" To create the next cup of coffee beans you will need very little time and materials. It will take:
- Frame under the photo or picture without drawings and special texture (flat and smooth);
- Coffee beans;
- Clay moment is crystal;
- Sketch of the future cup.
You can create such a picture with the kids. The main thing is to ensure that they do not stain everything around with glue. On the canvas of the picture, draw a sketch of the cup you like, and then paste the coffee beans along these lines. There is no need to strictly follow the canons of the picture. Make blanks, use only a schematic image of the cup. The frame for our painting can not even be painted in brown. Let among the grains, with which we decorate the frame, will be visible lumens. The picture "everyone loves coffee" Have you broken a cup or saucer from your favorite coffee service? Do not rush to throw the shards. Of these, you can make a very beautiful, bright and fragrant picture. It will be required;
- Coffee cups and saucers (more precisely, their halves or ¾);
- Coffee spoon;
- Picture in the frame;
- Coffee beans;
- Instant glue;
- Half napkin;
- Putty, mass for molding, clay or any other material that handles the texture well.
The technology of creation is simple to the impossible. On the preparation of our picture we put the material, which can give an uneven or rough texture (this of course, if desired). We mark in the picture the preliminary arrangement of a cup, a saucer, a spoon. We glue them to the picture. A napkin is partially glued to the picture and partially to the bottom of the saucer halves. Of course, all the details need time for gluing. The final touch - glue coffee beans. Some in random order, a piece of glue on a saucer, a piece on a spoon and a couple of grains in a cup. We are waiting for full freezing. We write or draw in the picture at will and you can give a friend a coffee mug.
