Considering that children are still new to this business, it is best to buy small ready-made kits, where there are not so many colors and shades. They include threads of a suitable color, a needle and canvas - fabric for embroidery. You do not need to start your work with a very voluminous picture, where there is simply a huge number of different colors and shades. You should go to this gradually. Moreover, now almost all ready-made kits have detailed instructions that explain how to embroider most correctly and accurately. For embroidery, it is better to take special threads - this is floss. Also, natural silk threads or woolen ones are used. Also, when choosing threads, you need to pay attention to their thickness. Ideally, the cross should cover the canvas cell. Because it does not look very nice when there are gaps between the stitches. Most of the time, of course, is taken by the choice of threads, namely, their shades. If you are going to embroider using a ready-made kit, there is a color chart, which will simplify your task a little. After you have bought everything you need, you need to prepare the canvas for work. Its edges should be overcast so that it does not unravel, in turn, bringing you some discomfort. You can overcast either manually or with a sewing machine or overlock. You can also spread the edges with any glue and let the fabric dry. Even after washing, the fabric will keep its original shape. Embroidery is one of the most ancient typesneedlework. It differs in the methods of execution and a huge number of different techniques. We suggest you look at a fairly simple pattern for embroidery.
It is recommended to embroider from the bottom up.In order not to get lost, you need to count the cells of the fabric. In the picture, you need to find the longest horizontal strip, find the middle on it and draw with a simple pencil. After that, enclose a square. It will be easier to count the cells while you work. Now you need to decide on the place of the first cross. To do this, you need to fold the fabric in half, then find a horizontal row, count the required number of cells to the right, and this will be the place for the first cross. Now it's time to insert the fabric into the hoop. The work begins with securing the fabric. You do not need to make knots on the thread! It is enough to simply pierce the upper and preferably right corner of the very first cell and bring the needle out to the lower corner on the left. After that, you need to pull the needle with the thread and leave a small tail of the thread. So, the thread passed along the inner part. After that, bring the needle out to the same place, which is next to the tail and bring it back to the lower left corner. Only now can the tail be cut off. In the event that the thread ends, then it needs to be secured on the inner side of the work. The thread needs to be pulled through the stitch twice. As a result, a small knot will come out. Feel free to cut off the thread that remains after these manipulations. When you finish embroidering, be sure to wash the work in cold water with liquid soap so that it does not fade. Gently squeeze out and dry. After the work dries, it needs to be ironed well from the inside. This will not only give it an aesthetic appearance, but also fix the crosses, which, in turn, will allow them not to lose their shape. The last thing to do is to frame the finished work. We stretch the fabric tightly onto the base, which will serve as ordinary thick cardboard. The base needs to be folded so that the work itself is in the center. Bend the edges of the embroidery and pull the ends together, gradually sewing them together. The work will look even more impressive if you frame it in a passe-partout.
