Bag and cosmetic bag in the style of "patchwork", crocheted

Bag and cosmetic bag in patchwork style,crochet - work by Olenushka. Materials: any cotton yarn, 50 g of colored yarn and 3 skeins of 50 g of black yarn. To knit the bag you will need: - 40 knitted square motifs; - lining fabric; - zipper; - 2 rings for bags. Scheme of the square motif:Each square is knitted in 2 or 3 colors.The front half of the bag consists of 4 squares in width and 3 in height. The back half (whole with the flap) consists of 4 squares in width and 5 squares in height. – Connect the vertical rows (3 squares for the front half and 5 squares for the back half) with 1 row of single crochet with black yarn. – Then connect the resulting vertical stripes with 3 rows of single crochet with black yarn (4 stripes for the front and back halves). – Tie the top edge of the front half of the bag with 1 row of single crochet. – Make the inside of the flap: 4 squares in width and 2 squares in height. Connect the squares: 1 row of single crochet in the vertical stripes and 3 rows of single crochet between the vertical stripes. – Tie one wide side of the flap with 1 row of single crochet. – Attach the inner half of the flap to the top of the back half of the bag. Attach the flap to the top of the back half with the untied side. Connect the back half of the bag and the inner part of the flap with 3 rows of sc with black yarn. – Connect the front and back halves of the bag with 7 rows of sc, tying the halves on 3 sides with black yarn. This will make the bottom and sides. – Make 2 straps to attach the strap to the bag: 6-8 cm long and 2 cm wide (this is about 3 rows of sc). Fold each strap in half lengthwise, insert a bag ring into the resulting loop and sew the straps with the narrow side to the top of the sides. The straps can also be picked up along the edge of the sides. – Strap. We make 3 stripes (2 black and 1 red) 2-3 rows of sc wide, everyone adjusts the length for themselves. Weave the stripes into a pigtail. Bend the edges of the pigtail inward by 4-5 cm, insert a ring into the resulting loop and hem the edge of the pigtail to its inner part. (I used plastic detachable rings for curtains, because there were no colored rings for bags in the stores.) The bag handle is ready! We sew the lining of the bag from lining fabric. It is best to cut the lining according to the dimensions of the finished knitted bag. We make the inner part of the bag without a flap (ours is double-sided knitted). Sew strips for the zipper to the upper part of the lining. If the bag has a zipper, then you can not make any fastener to the flap. COSMETIC BAG For the cosmetic bag you will need: - 12 knitted squares; - lining fabric; - zipper. The cosmetic bag is made similarly to the bag. The front and back halves of the cosmetic bag are the same: 3 rows of squares in width and 2 in height. - Connect the vertical rows with 1 row of sc. - Connect the vertical stripes with 2 rows of sc. - Connect the front and back halves with 5-7 rows of sc (these are the sides and the bottom). - Knit the top edge of the cosmetic bag in a circle with 1 row of sc. - Make the inside of the cosmetic bag from lining fabric with a zipper. - Connect the lining and the knitted cosmetic bag with a blind stitch just below the binding of the upper edge, so that the binding covers the zipper.
