Green Meadow Handbag
Good afternoon! My name is Elena.I present to your attention my new work for the competition Handbag "Green Meadow". It is made of cotton threads Luxor (142 m per 50 g). It took 200 g. Hook No. 2.5 (for fabric from single crochets) and No. 3.5 (for openwork).
Knitting starts from the bottom of the bag.The number of loops corresponding to the desired width of the bag is dialed (minus 5-7 cm). The first row is knitted with single crochet stitches, 3 loops are knitted in the last loop (in order to continue knitting on the other side of the dialed chain (a seamless bag is knitted in a circle). The next row is knitted with single crochet stitches behind the back wall of the loop. In each last loop of the row, make increases, knitting 3 (5) loops, depending on what bevel of the corners of the bag you want to get. After 5 cm, start knitting the pattern according to the diagram. 5 cm before the required height, continue knitting with single crochet stitches behind the back wall. Next, knit the flap and handle separately with single crochet stitches. Sew on the flap. I used carabiners to attach the handle. The edge of the flap is trimmed with a "caterpillar" cord. That's all, actually.
