Content

In this lesson, we will look at weavingteddy bear and exotic panda figures made of beads. These two funny figures can be made using completely different weaving techniques and patterns. Both experienced and novice craftswomen will be able to choose the animals they like and make them with their own hands, involving the whole family in this activity.

Bear cubs in the technique of brick weaving

The first master class will consider the weaving of cute bright bears from beads. Figures obtained as a result of this lesson can become original earrings or an attractive pendant.

To weave this craft, you need to prepare the following materials and tools:

  • Beads of suitable colors. This master class uses beige, pink, golden, blue and black shades;
  • A needle for beadwork;
  • Fishing line;
  • Pins (2 pieces);
  • Schwenzy;
  • Decorative beads (2 pieces).

The work uses a rather simple scheme,Both sides of which are symmetrical, therefore such a weaving can not be better for beginners. The process begins with the creation of the row with the largest width, which is marked on the diagram. In the course of the work, you may additionally need the schemes, on the basis of which the narrowing and expansion of this web is. Therefore, we advise you to study these materials in advance before moving on to create teddy bears with a brick stitch.

First, you need to fix one of thepins on a fishing line. This is done as follows: the pin is put on the fishing line through the eye, moved to the middle of the section and secured with two knots.
The initial row is woven by hand from vera tobottom, according to the diagram. All beads are crossed by each of the ends of the fishing line. Having finished creating the first row, leave any of the ends of the fishing line, which will be useful for making another half of the figure and continue weaving the right side of the bear from beads.

The first part of the bear is done.When you have finished weaving, tie a knot. You don't have to melt the fishing line, but hide its end in the woven fabric and remove the unnecessary. The second (left) part of the beaded bear is woven in a similar way.
One of the bears is ready. You can make another figurine and you will get original earrings with your favorite colorful animals.
Having braided two of these bears using the brick method, you need to put beautiful beads on the pins and secure the earwires to them.

Using this simple diagram as a basis, you will be able tomake many unique items with your own hands. A similar teddy bear figurine is a wonderful keychain for your phone. Having made three different animals from multi-colored beads, attach special rings to them, as well as a chain with pendants, and you have a bright beaded bookmark for a book or diary. Experiment with color combinations and come up with your own ideas for original crafts.

Tutorials for weaving bears

The following two presented diagrams will help you make bead beads by the technique of parallel weaving of even and bulky shapes.

Panda with a sprig of bamboo

Panda - an exotic bear, loved by manyFor its touching appearance and awkward movements. With the help of beading, you can independently make such a small animal and carry it with you, attaching it to keys or a mobile phone.
To make this panda, prepare:

  • Beads under No. 10 dark, light, transparent and green tones;
  • Tubules of glass beads of green hue;
  • Beads of light and transparent shades with a diameter of eight millimeters;
  • A white oval bead that has a biased hole (to create a panda tail);
  • Pin;
  • Thread, fishing line or monofilament for beading.

Let's start the process by creating the panda's head.The work is done on both ends of the thread. We string three pieces of light beads on the thread and move them to the center. Next, any of the ends must be pushed through the bead under number three (according to the model of monastery beading). Thus, we get the first link. According to the scheme, on the thread, which is marked with a red shade, we string four dark beads and pass its end into the bead, which completes the initial of the links (the first eye of the beaded panda). On the other thread, marked with blue in the scheme, we string two pieces of white beads. In this case, the first thread is passed through the second bead. In this way, we closed the next link - the second in a row. According to this scheme of actions, it is necessary to weave the following links - the third and fourth.
The weaving of the fifth link begins with threadingthreads through a bead in the initial link. Next, you need to string one transparent bead and close the link in it. The sixth detail is made up of stringing two pieces of the main material of a transparent shade and one black bead, where the second thread is passed. The following elements from the seventh to the fifteenth are created based on the diagram (each of them is numbered). Next, the fifteenth element is combined with the first. At this stage, insert a bead (8 mm) into the middle of the weaving. The seventeenth element serves as a place to create the panda's muzzle. The component under No. 25 is woven from white beads (according to the diagram, such an element is marked with a green shade). The body of the figurine will subsequently be woven from this detail. Having closed the link under No. 38, you need to weave another ear for the panda from beads. After that, we resume weaving and create links under numbers 39 and 40.

We start weaving the panda's body with link No.25, each component of which is also numbered. Having completed the weaving of the fifteenth part, we insert an eight-millimeter bead into the middle. Having finished making the panda's body, among links 23, 24, 26 and 30, it is necessary to fix a bead that will serve as a tail.
At the next stage, the legs of the figure are created, which are woven to elements No. 27 and 29 (on the diagram these are marks E-I on both sides).
All that remains is to weave the back pair of legs and the bamboo branch.
At this point the weaving of the panda is complete, all you need to do isinsert a special nail, which is called a pin, into the body of the craft, wrap its tip in the shape of a loop and attach a cord or a connecting ring to make it convenient to attach the panda figurine, for example, to keys.
