Use your imagination a little and you will be able to createa beautiful New Year's card with a large picture. All the work will take you no more than an hour, and the result will please both you and the person for whom the card is intended.
In order to make a similar New Year'sTo make a postcard using scrapbooking technique, you will need contrasting red paper, thick white sheet, decorative rubbing with Scandinavian motifs, small branches for decoration (these can be pine cones or decorative berries), a not very large wooden stick, glue, if desired, you can use stamps with red ink.
The first thing you need to do is take a set ofdecorative elements and a stick, which will be needed for rubbing. Take thick white paper, fold it in half. Next, you need to cut out a suitable New Year's picture, in this case, we used an image of a deer. However, if you wish, you can choose something else.
Now you have a rather painstaking task ahead of you.work. Separate the film with the picture from the backing, choose the most suitable place for it on the white paper and place the image with the inside down.
After this, the most important stage begins:rub the film with the image using a wooden stick. Next, you need to remove the film from the decorative picture very carefully and slowly. In this example, the Scandinavian deer should remain on a white base. Be sure to check whether the entire picture has come off the film, if not - repeat the same steps again.Once the Scandinavian reindeer is on paper,proceed to decorating the card. In this case, small cones and red berries were used in the work. If you do not have such elements, you can use any others that will correspond to the New Year theme. All decorations are attached with glue, but you can also use brads for these purposes.In the end, all that remains is to make a congratulatory inscription.To do this, you can use special stamps or decorative ink. If you have beautiful handwriting, you can sign the card by hand. To make your card even brighter and more beautiful, use little tricks. Just choose paper of the right color and make a frame, using your imagination, you can make other decorative elements. Now all that remains is to fill the New Year's card with warm words and give it to a close and beloved person.
