Fine scarlet poppies can be made from cloth in Kansas technique.
It is customary to decorate folk festive costumesflowers. Many Slavic-style outfits are embroidered with cornflowers and poppies, but flowers can be created not only with a needle, but also reproduced in exact copies from fabric. This master class describes in detail how tosatin fabric to create poppies with your own hands. The size of the flowers can vary from 5 cm to 15, the technology for creating bright poppies is the same, but patterns of different sizes should be used. Such unique flowers can decorate not only a folk costume, but also be placed on a headband, bandage, belt ribbon and even perfectly fit a summer handbag. To create poppies you will need:
10. A sheet of thick paper, it is better to use cardboard. 11. Hot glue for fixing the petals. To create a beautiful poppy you will need to dopetals, a plump middle, many stamens. Then all the details are collected in a certain order: the petals are glued in two rows, the middle is connected to the stamens, and then a charming flower is formed - a scarlet poppy. In order to make identical petals, you will need a template. It needs to be made of cardboard, first the petal is drawn in any form, but of the right size. So, if you plan to create a poppy with your own hands measuring 10 cm (as in this example), then the petal blank should be 5 cm high. The width of the template in the largest part is about 4-5 cm, since the poppy petals are quite voluminous, so do not make the pattern narrow.Place the pattern on a piece of fabric and trace it with a pencil or dark pen. To make the work easier, you can fold the fabric 3-4 times and cut out several pieces at once.Cut out several pieces, approximately 7-8 pieces will be needed for the bottom layer of the flower, and the second layer always consists of three petals.Of course, you won't be able to make flat petals like that.beautiful flower, they need to be given an original shape. Poppy petals have wavy edges, so the flower looks delicate, “double”. To create the same edge on a fabric blank, you will need a candle flame.Take a petal and bring its edge toflame, burn the edge near the fire for about 3-4 mm, and the satin will melt. And immediately, without giving time for the artificial material to harden, pull the material in different directions, that is, with the fingers of one hand you bend the edge of the petal away from you, and with the other hand sharply pull it towards you. This bend will allow you to create the desired wave, the melted material will instantly harden and the edge will take on a bumpy appearance. Then burn the edge at a distance of 4-5 mm andbend again, and so gradually form waves on all sides of the petal, except for the lower part, which will lie in the center of the flower and in this place it should be flat.Prepare a rounded piece about 3 cm in diameter as the base of the flower. The petals will be glued to this piece step by step. The first element is located on any side of the circle. The second petal is fixed on top of the first, shifting to the right. That is, each subsequent element overlaps the previous detail by half. Place 7-9 petals around the entire circumference to form the bottom layer of the flower. The second layer of the flower is formed from three petals, which are distributed evenly and lie above the first layer. They will add the necessary volume and hide the joints of the previous petals. Two rows of scarlet details are enough to imitate a poppy, more layers will make the flower look like a peony. The center of the poppy is formed from a green square with sides of 5 cm. Filler is placed in the center of the element and a bag is formed from the blank.Wind black threads onto a green bag, tightly squeezing the middle. The layers of threads are first arranged in a cross, and then wound in the middle of the selected segments, that is, two crosses from the winding are obtained, shifted in the center.Wrap it around two fingers (index finger and thumb)several layers of thread (about 30-40 turns), then fasten the winding in the center with another thread, and cut the edges. You will get such a bundle of future stamens. Now you will need PVA glue and semolina.Dip several ends of the threads into glue (squeeze a few drops onto the paper first) and immediately dip them into the semolina. Do this with all the ends of the threads, and you will get an imitation of flower stamens.Using hot glue, secure the green center to the center of the stamens, distributing the threads around the entire circumference. At the final stage, join with hot gluelayers of petals and the central part of the poppy from stamens. The charming red poppy is ready, it is easy to make with your own hands. Such a flower will suit both as a hair decoration and as an integral part of the Slavic costume.
