It would be original if you made something based on this idea.something like curtains for interior doors, that is, connecting one head with a pin to another in a long row equal to the length of the door, and thus make several such rows, which are then hung from above on the door frame, attaching to a fishing line or the same row of corks. You can make different lengths, alternating long and short rows or something like an arch.
To do this we need:– Corks in the required quantity; – A chain around the waist or hips; – Additional metal accessories such as signs, keys, etc.; – Metal buttons or hairpins with round metal heads (purchased in the craft department); – Decoupage material or packaging material; – Super glue; – Wire; – Nippers. Note! 1. The head of the hairpin should not be cast, but with holes, so that it is convenient to attach the cork to the chain. 2. If you do not own the technique of decoupage, then you can glue ordinary durable packaging material, but keep in mind that it is advisable to hide the entire wooden base with it. However, decoupage in this sense is better in quality. How and what to do: 1. Decoupage the corks using the usual technique. 2. Make a hole in the middle of the heads equal to the diameter of the pin. 3. Apply glue to the leg of the pin. 4. Insert into the hole. 5. Do the same with each pin, that is, you get two pins for one cork. 6. Cut the wire into small sections. The number of pieces should be equal to the number of corks. 7. Discreetly screw the wire by the head to the chain. 8. Add other elements as decoration if desired.
