Approximately a herringbone in the height of 35-40 centimeters will spend 30-40 grams of this material. 2. Also prepare transparent glue. with the help of which the sisal will be fixed on the base, and the decorating elements will stick to the soft hair. 3. Workpiece for the Christmas tree. It can be a foam cone or take a large sheet of cardboard. 4. Thread of beads of contrasting color in relation to shades of sisal. The thread must be at least one meter long so that the beads easily wrap around the cone and have a pretty appearance. 5. Other decorations will be needed for the Christmas tree except beads, these may be snowflakes, flowers or any composition. 6. Wire of small diameter. which easily bends and twists. 
At the first stage it is necessary to decide on the procurementthe cone. If you have a ready-made cone of foam, you can go to the second stage. And if you have cardboard, you have to tinker. On a sheet of cardboard draw a circle, more precisely its half. The semicircle should have a radius of 30 centimeters, probably you will not find such a huge compass, then use two pencils., Which you need to tie with the desired length, that is, about 30-40 cm. Put one pencil in the center of the edge of the cardboard sheet, tied to the second pencil, and draw a semicircle. Cut out the drawn part from the cardboard. To create a cone you will need to twist the part, slightly bending at the point where the first pencil was standing. The edges of the cardboard parts are easily glued with the most common glue-pencil or you can use hot-melt glue, a moment, etc. Close the bottom of the cone you will need a circle of cardboard. To do this, draw the bottom of the cone on a cardboard sheet, cut out the circle slightly increasing the edges, about 0.5 cm. Then cut the extra edge by 0.5 cm to get the "legs", which you need to bend, spread with glue and with their help the bottom fixes on the cone. When the cone is ready we proceed to the second stage. Now it is necessary to expand the sisal into one layer with a height of about 1 cm. You can use a wider layer of material, but the appearance of the Christmas tree will not change much, and the sisal will be spent more. 
Now reel the cone in the sisal. All actions must take place in one direction, help the hands symmetrically to distribute the sisal, so that there are no gaps and places where the material lies very tightly and with a large layer. Two palms, as it were, roll the cone, but always in the same direction. 
To ensure that the sisal is firmly fixed on the tree inOne place squeeze out a strip of glue that will run vertically from the crown to the base of the craft. Then press the sisal against the cone. If you use hot melt, then remember that it is very hot to the touch and be careful.

If you have a foam cone, then simply drown part of the wire at the top of the craft, and if you are using a cardboard blank, the recessed wire should be additionally fixed with a hot-melt glue. When you roll the cone in the sisal, try to leave some soft fibers on the top, and then twist them around the wire, which so far just sticks up. Sisal hair easily succumb to any manipulation, so twist them around a thin wire is not difficult. When the sisal is wound on the protruding part, only then can the wire be smoothly bent in the form of a hook or an unprescribed spiral. This tradition has come to us from other countries, but many such a form of Christmas trees is very sympathetic. When the sisal apparel is tightly "sitting" on the Christmas trees and the glue is completely stiffened, you need to move on to the next stage - creating jewelry on the New Year's beauty. For this we need a thread with beads. It is not necessary to select very large beads, it will be inconvenient to attach them to soft sisal fibers. It is also important to use yarns with bright beads saturated in color. It can be blue elements or red, still suitable crimson beads, purple, etc. Fastening of the thread of beads begins in the zone of the tip of the cone. It is necessary to leave the end of the decoration for the top of the herringbone hanging down and begin to glue the small elements in the form of beads from the point of the cone to the curl. 
Next, twist the thread in a spiral towardsthe base of the cone. Each turn must be at the same distance as the previous winding. Try to keep the distance about five centimeters. If you want to wind the beads more often, then first try on such a winding without glue to represent the result. Glue it is necessary to fix each round obkatiya, but only on one side. To do this, gently apply a couple drops of glue on 3-4 beads that are near, and immediately press against the sisal, slightly pressing down the decoration. 
Near the foot of the Christmas tree you need to connect the edge of the threadfrom beads to the beginning of the previous round, that is, to close the ring of round ornaments. When the entire bottom is decorated, you need to return to the top of the craft and wrap the beads around the wire, which has already hidden in the thickness of the sisal. The edge of the beads should be glued exactly with the end of the curl, then the work will look harmonious. Often, jewelry and beads are not enough and you need to add new items. In this example, I used a flower made of ribbons, which was made by myself in Kansas technique. Still required an average snowflake and came in handy silver leaves. 
I first glued all these details together. First, I glued the leaves over the snowflakes, placing them in the direction of the arrows at 12 and 3 o'clock. Then you need to apply a lot of glue on the back of the flower. 
Just lean the snowflake to the side of the tree and press the flower into the center of this composition. The hot glue will spread a little at this moment and securely mesh all the layers of the decoration and the base of the sisal fibers. 
The cooling of the glue and its hardening will take onlya couple of minutes and a Christmas tree will be ready. So the New Year's craft is done, made by own hands.
