All you need for quilling isa special tool and thin strips of paper with an average width of 3 to 7 mm and a length of at least 15-20 cm. Instead of a tool for simple parts, you can use a regular toothpick, and cut strips of material from simple colored double-sided paper. Therefore, we can say with confidence that anyone can make a postcard with their own hands using the quilling technique.Below is a detailed master class onmaking a very beautiful, delicate greeting card in red tones. Such a card will be a good gift for a birthday, Valentine's Day and other events. The original design, simple execution and use of the simplest materials allow even a child to do the job without problems. To work on the card, we will prepare:

The basis for a postcard is red 10x21 cm or red cardboard;

Paper is red, with a pattern, design;

White heavy paper or cardboard;

Rhinestones - small round and droplets of red color;

Quilling paper - red, white;

Quilting paper folding tool, ruler, glue, pencil, scissors;

Double-sided tape, foamed.

From design paper with a red patternshade, cut out a piece measuring 7x19 cm. On the reverse side, attach pieces of double-sided tape so that the diagonal corners are empty (since they will not be attached to the base, but will be free).We attach the part diagonally to the base so that some corners protrude diagonally beyond the edges of the postcard, and other corners do not protrude beyond the height of the postcard.Made of cardboard or thick white papercut out a 6x18 cm rectangle. Also glue pieces of foam tape so that the diagonally opposite corners are free, without tape. Attach the piece evenly (parallel to the contours of the red base itself) on top of the "oblique" rectangle of red patterned paper.Take quilling paper 5 mm wide and 40-50 cm long. Roll it into a roll using a quilling tool.Using a special ruler (or without it), unravel the roll.We form a drop by squeezing the loosened roll with our fingers on one side.We secure the edge with glue.You need 7 of these parts.Now we glue the parts together to form a flower.From white quilling paper we make a tight roll, do not unravel it, fix it with glue.We attach the finished white element to the center of the flower with glue.Take about 15 cm of red quilling paper and 20 cm of white. Coat the edge with red glue.We glue two strips together into one.We form a roll using a quilling tool.We loosen it a little, give it a drop shape, pressing the finished roll with our fingers on both sides. We make 5 of these pieces.We take a ready-made quilling flower, spread glue on the back side, and attach it to the base.We attach the completed parts to the base.Cut 12-15 cm of red and white paper forquilling, put them together and twist them on one side with a quilling tool. Give them a curved shape, attach the finished part to the base of the card with glue. You will need two of these elements.We take red rhinestones for the final decoration of our work.We attach small round rhinestones to the corners of the red base, we attach teardrop-shaped rhinestones to the corners of the rectangle made of design paper with a pattern. Finally, we attach three teardrops of rhinestones to the left of the flower.You can decorate a postcard with rhinestones in a variety of ways at your discretion.A very beautiful holiday card, made with your own hands, is ready!
