From this detailed master class with a photo you will learn how to create a quilling card.
All you need for quilling is a specialtool and thin strips of paper with an average width of 3 to 7 mm, length not less than 15-20 cm. Instead of a tool for simple parts, you can use a conventional toothpick, and strips of material cut from simple colored two-sided paper. Therefore, with confidence, we can say that anyone can execute quilling with their own hands using quilling techniques. The following is a detailed master-class onperforming a very beautiful, gentle greeting card in red tones. Such a card will be a good gift for Birthday, Valentine's Day and other events. The original design, simple execution and use of the simplest materials makes it possible without any problems to do the work even for the child. For work on the card we will prepare:
From paper for design with a pattern of red tintcut out a detail 7x19 cm. On the back side we attach pieces of double-sided tape so that the corners are obliquely oblique (since they will not be attached to the base, but will be free).
Attach the detail diagonally to the base so that some of the corners are obliquely protruding beyond the edges of the postcard, while the other corners do not protrude beyond the postcard in height.
From cardboard or thick white papercut a rectangle 6x18 cm. Also glue pieces of foamed tape so that the opposite corners of the oblique corners are free, without scotch tape. We fix the part exactly (parallel to the contours of the redest base) from above on the "oblique" rectangle of red patterned paper.
We take quilling paper with a width of 5 mm and a length of 40-50 cm. Use a quilling tool to roll the roll.
Using a special ruler (you can do without it), let's roll the roll.
Form a drop, squeezing the fingers of the loose roll on one side.
The edge is fixed with glue.
Such details need 7 pieces.
Now we glue the details together into a flower.
From quilling paper white make a tight roll, do not dissolve it, fix it with glue.
The finished white element is fastened in the center of the flower to the glue.
We take about 15 cm of red quilling paper and 20 cm of white paper. We smear the edge with red glue.
We glue the two strips together into one.
We form a tool for quilling roll.
We dissolve a little, we form the drop, pressing the fingers on both sides of the finished roll. We make such details 5 pieces.
We take the ready quilling flower, apply glue on the back side, attach it to the base.
We attach the completed parts to the base.
Cut 12-15 cm of red and white paper forquilling, add them together and on the one hand we twist the quilling tool. We attach the curvilinear form, the finished part is fixed to the glue on the base of the postcard. There are two such elements.
We take red rhinestones for the final decoration of our work.
We fix round small rhinestones on the corners of the red base, crystals in the form of drops are attached to the corners of a rectangle of design paper with a pattern. In the end we attach three drops of rhinestones to the left of the flower.
You can decorate a postcard with rhinestones at your discretion in a variety of ways.
A very beautiful holiday card, made by own hands, is ready!
