Beret Merry Lamb - Olga's work
The work is participating in the nomination "Editor's Choice". For work you will need: yarn as in the photo, one skein each:
leftover brown and green yarn (for grass)and light blue acrylic yarn. Start working with #3 crochet hook using fluffy yarn. Cast on 3 ch, close into a ring. Row 1 - 3 ch, lift 11 dc into a ring. Row 2 - 3 ch, double each dc of the previous row. Row 3 - double every second dc of the previous row. Row 4 - double every third dc of the previous row, etc., until the bottom diameter is 23 cm (alternate fluffy yarn with acrylic as desired). Next, knit 7 cm without increases, then decrease (in those places where you made an increase). Knit to the desired size (try on), then knit an elastic band. Cast on ch. of the required length (I have 106 sts) and knit a row of dc 2 rows - 2 relief dc for the front wall, 2 relief dc for the back wall, etc. Knit an elastic band 4 cm wide. Next, sew the edges and tie the dc to the edge of the beret or sew with threads. The beret is ready.
We knit a sheep.Take white yarn (as in the photo) with hook No. 4-4.5, cast on 4 air sts into a ring and knit 12 dc (into a ring). Next, continue adding loops in a spiral to get a convex oval (length 12 cm, width 10 cm) - this is the body. From brown yarn, No. 2, knit the lower part of the muzzle. Cast on 7 air sts and knit in a circle, knitting 3 dc from the outer loops. Knit to the desired size. Then, without breaking the yarn, continue knitting the upper part of the muzzle (see photo). Knit the ears. Cast on 7 air sts, then 1 air st, 1 dc, 2 half dc, 3 dc and 7 dc. n. in the last loop. Next 3 dc, 2 half dc, 1 dc. The ear is ready. It remains to sew both ears to the head. We embroider the nose and mouth with a needle and black yarn. Also the eyes. You can tie white grass to the top of the head (or knit a hat as your imagination tells you). Connect the head to the body with threads. Sew the sheep in the center of the beret so that it is voluminous. Everything is ready, here you have a 3D sheep. Author of the work Wait, loading…
