Hello, dear lovers!I am always interested in everyone. In this case, I decided that laconism would be appropriate. I wanted to make a summer beret for my most important girl - granddaughter Selina. She just turned 3 months old. Her mother did not give consent for photographs, so I had to use a mannequin.
Once upon a time on a forum I liked a napkin,and the author of the work shared the pattern with me. Thank him very much for this, it has helped me more than once. This time I took it as a basis, as usual, adding my "two cents". Knitting pattern for a beret:
Then I tried to finish the headband with a ribbing band of raised columns, but it turned out that they were too stiff. I had to go back and make the ribbing one-sided:
There are 5 rows of them.I tied the edge with a row of arches: +++OOO+++OOO+++OOO … And a row of single crochets. -+++++-+++++-+++++-+++++- Then I skipped 1.5 meters of round hat elastic under the relief columns in rows 1, 3, 5. I didn’t cut the elastic, I just carefully moved to the next row in the middle of the back of the beret.
I reinforced the elastic band edges with a few stitches of sewing thread so that they wouldn't run away. I tied the ends with a bow. It's ready to be given to its new owner!
