Birdhouse - a dormitory for birds
There are a lot of birds in London, but not many trees.Therefore, it is not possible to expect each bird family to have a personal birdhouse on a personal tree. Sounds like a global human problem, doesn’t it? But a group of London designers, London Fieldworks, decided to try to help the birds and create a separate birdhouse for each. The Spontaneous City in the Tree of Heaven project is, in fact, a bird dormitory.
New concepts for creating housing do not concernonly apartments and houses for people. London artists have been developing and implementing their project to create mass birdhouses for two years now. And they have achieved very interesting results.
The guys from London Fieldworks install whole clusters of birdhouses of different shapes and sizes on trees. Moreover, they are attached with rubber bands, so that as the tree grows, these bird towns will expand.
Such birdhouses are alsoan original decoration of the park, a full-fledged "live" sculpture on a tree, filled with birds chirping. Thanks to the designers for this interesting project, for the opportunity to look at your own life from the outside again. After all, this bird anthill is an exact copy of our high-rise buildings, to which we are accustomed.
