A birdhouse from a plastic bottle in the form of a house
Portuguese designers from the studio Colectivo daRainha reflected on the issues of environmental pollution with plastic waste from human activities. Together with the Portuguese company, which sells drinking water in plastic bottles, the designers sought an interesting way of processing the container and turning it into a useful object for nature. After several experiments with bottles,designers stopped on thermal processing of plastic, thanks to which the bottle can take any shape, for example, a house, which is very suitable for a birdhouse. The neck serves as the entrance to the house, and the handle for transportation is the roost for the feathered inhabitant. 
It is interesting that this idea and the way it is implementeddesigners gave the group of unemployed comrades, who thus save the city from plastic containers, making bird houses, and also make a living, because the best of their birdhouses are successfully sold.
