Progress of work. Prepare sawdust dough. Take two glasses of sawdust, half a glass of starch, half a glass of water, three tablespoons of PVA, one teaspoon of sunflower oil.We sift the sawdust through a sieve.Dissolve the glue in water. Mix the sawdust with starch thoroughly and gradually pour in the water with the glue. Stirring constantly, add the butter. The dough should be similar to shortbread.Using cling film, wrap the board. The dough is covered with film and rolled out to a thickness of 10-15 mm. Take a knife and cut out a heart-shaped mold.Use a cocktail straw to make holes.Take a brush dipped in water-glue solution and smooth out the edges of the heart.Dry and clean using sandpaper. Cover with varnish. Let's move on to sculpting flowers. Our panel will be decorated with pink and red roses. The toothpick is stuck into the plasticine.Using red plasticine, roll 5 balls50 mm in diameter. Roll it slightly on one side and make a drop. Then put it on a toothpick. It will act as the core of the rose where we will glue the petals. Roll a ball 50 mm in diameter again. Place it in the center of your palm and flatten it with your finger. Using your thumb and index finger, form a petal of medium thickness. You will need a dozen of such petals for one flower, and if you make more, the flower will become even more magnificent. There will be two petals in the first row. Take the core and wrap it with one petal so that you get a pretty cone.Don't try to glue the petals too tightly.the entire width, just wrap it and hold it, it will stick on its own later. The second petal is placed opposite the first. There will be one more petal in the second row. The first of them is glued halfway, leaving the second edge as is. This is done in order to tuck the edge of the final petal under it. It is located 0.01-0.02 cm higher from the 1st row. Three petals are applied in accordance with the illustration. The 3rd row will consist of five petals. They should also be glued above the previous petals. Remember that the edge of the final petal is placed under the edge of the 1st petal. In other words, the petals are not placed opposite each other, but in a spiral. Continue wrapping the petals. At the exit, you should get something like this: Dry. The lower part of the rose should be even so that it is securely fixed on the panel. For this purpose, using a stationery knife, we align the edges of the rose (this stage of the work should only be performed by an adult). A half-opened rose is molded similarly from five petals. To make a bud, take the base and two petals. Using green plasticine, make 3 sepal balls. Then they are glued to the rose bud.We take plasticine of the same color and roll a sausage of small thickness, then it is rolled out and 5 triangles are cut with scissors. The triangle is fixed at the sepal. Now, using green plasticine, roll 7thin sausages, the length of which is 10 mm. The resulting stems are glued to the bud and half-opened rose. Take manicure scissors and make small cuts on the stem. This is how we will create thorns for our roses. In total, we will need red plasticine to mold five opened roses, one half-opened rose and one bud.The same pattern will be used for sculpting.three open roses and three half-opened roses and one bud made of pink plasticine. Modeling the leaves. First, you need to make molds for the leaves. Take a tin can or a plastic bottle and cut out a 50 x 40 mm strip. The ends of the strips are fastened with tape. Alternatively, you can use a ready-made boat. Seven leaves are cut out of green self-hardening plasticine, previously rolled out thinly, using a leaf mold. A special device is used to make veins on the leaves - a mold. If you don’t have one, use a stack.Dry. Glue the red roses onto the base. Then glue the bud and half-opened rose. We fix it to the base with glue, a rose of the same color.Next, half-opened roses and a bud are glued. Leaves are glued to red roses. After that, the foliage is glued to roses of the same color.A satin ribbon is inserted into a pre-made hole. Carefully examine the craft, and if you haven't missed anything, then it's finished! We hope that the proposed master class will unite your family even more when you spend fun and interesting time together, making souvenirs with your own hands.
