Cap and crochet hook, Natalia's works
Good afternoon, needlewomen! My name is Natalia.Today I am posting my works for the first time. I have been into this hobby for about 20 years. This year I knitted summer hats for the first time. I took the cap pattern from a magazine. 100% cotton threads. Thread consumption is about 100 g. I knitted in beads. First, I calculated how many beads I needed. Then I put the required number on the thread. And when I knitted the visor, I simply moved the beads along the thread and knitted. The description in the magazine is very simple. It knits quickly. Head circumference: 54-56 cm To knit a cap, you will need: Orion yarn (77% cotton, 23% viscose, 170 m / 50 g) - 50 g yellow, hook No. 2, plastic visor. Description of knitting a crochet cap Main part: start knitting from the crown. Cast on 5 ch. p., close into a ring. Next, knit in a circle with an openwork pattern according to diagram 1. Then knit without increases to the desired depth (approximately 9 rows). After this, knit 5 rows of sc.
Visor: Cast on a chain of 28 ch.and knit according to pattern 2, making increases on the sides. Then knit 7 rows without increases, cut the thread. Next, knit each side separately. To do this, attach the thread to the knitted part (the place of attachment of the thread is shown in the picture) and knit 24 dc. At the same time, in each row, knit 3 columns together on both sides. Knit until 1 loop remains. Knit the second side in the same way. Assembly: insert a plastic base into the visor, sew the visor to the base. But I knitted the kerchief without a pattern. Just a flight of fantasy!
