One of the most favorite holidays among womenis International Women's Day, which is celebrated on March 8th. All girls, girls, women look forward to pleasant congratulations and, of course, gifts on this day. How can you surprise your beloved grandmothers, sisters, mothers and aunts on this joyful spring day? And it’s not at all difficult to do this, and in our case it’s practically free. Postcards for March 8, which you prepare for this significant day and do it yourself, will be able to cheer up and charm any of your beloved women. What plot to choose when making suchsurprises? Of course, we need a purely female theme – these can be delicate bouquets of flowers, elegant hats and shoes, handbags and dresses, and for caring thrifty grandmothers you can make cards with aprons or colorful cups. You can use cute voluminous butterflies in your works or decorate a card with beautiful lace and satin ribbons. When choosing subjects for your gifts, you can completely rely on your taste but take into account the weaknesses and hobbies of your relatives or friends – those to whom your greeting cards will essentially be intended.
If you decide to make your postcard fromcolored paper, it’s not very difficult to make a bouquet of sunny daisies. Take colored cardboard as a basis. Fold a piece of cardboard in half, giving it the shape of an opening postcard. Glue colored paper onto the central part so that the rim of the cardboard becomes a kind of frame for the postcard. From thin cardboard or yellow paper, cut out three circles for the center of the daisy, and from white the flowers themselves with long petals, as befits daisies. Form the shape for the flower so that when the center is glued onto the flower itself, the petals can be bent a little and thereby give the card volume. There is no need to glue the petals to the card, just the middle. From green cardboard, cut out three long strips for the stems. They also should not be glued to the very end, let their lower part stick out a little. Form the daisies and their stems into a bouquet and stick them on the card at a slight angle so that one of the flowers with its petals protrudes slightly beyond the edge of the card on the side where it will open. Now take paper of the same color as the background itself and cut out a small rectangle from it. Glue it in the center of the bouquet on the stems and write a congratulation on it, perhaps it is better to do this with white acrylic paint. The un-glued parts of the stems will have to stick out from under this rectangle. Also outline the edge of the rectangle with white paint and thus beautifully highlight the inscription on it. On the background itself, draw hearts, of different shapes and sizes, and just above the rectangle, glue a bow from a ribbon or other material that is available. The card is ready, now write your deepest wishes in it and you can safely give it to the person for whom it is intended.
