Postcard for the new year, made by own hands. Photo postcards and suitable ideas.
On the eve of the New Year holidays, all peopleare pleasantly delighted with the anticipation of fabulous miracles and gifts from Santa Claus. This mood is created by nothing more than careful preparation of everything that you have planned and decided to do in time for the coming new year. Everyone is overwhelmed by the desire to do something unusual and somehow please their loved ones, friends and family in a special way. It’s simply impossible to give expensive gifts to everyone, but presenting cute New Year’s souvenirs is quite possible, especially since it’s very easy to make them yourself. A New Year's card is a suitable option for such a souvenir. You won’t have to spend a lot of time making it and the material costs will be minimal, as those to whom you give it will be pleasantly surprised. You can get by with the lightest versions of such postcards. To do this you will need cardboard for the base of the card, colored paper, glue and scissors. This set is always available, especially in a house with children. By the way, be sure to involve your children in this amazing activity and let them create New Year’s miracles with you.So, what is the most important attribute?New Year. Of course, a forest beauty that we decorate every year with the whole family. This is what we will depict on postcards using appliqué. The simplest option would be this: take green colored paper and cut strips of approximately the same width, but slightly different lengths. A square of red paper will serve as the base of the tree. Fold the white cardboard in half and glue strips horizontally on the central part of the card to create the shape of a Christmas tree. Between the strips we leave gaps approximately the same width as the strips themselves. Glue the base square to the bottom. Before gluing, you can try to simply lay out the future applique and choose a good shape for the Christmas tree. You can make a similar Christmas tree, but from strips of different colored paper, and glued at a slight angle, as if you were making crosses. And on top there is an asterisk. This will be a more cheerful Christmas tree. You can also take not ordinary colored paper, but, say, cut strips from leftover packaging paper, which many people use to beautifully wrap gifts. The same Christmas trees can be made from braid,multi-colored ribbons or tape of different colors. You can come up with your own version from the material that is at hand. A postcard made from blue colored double-sided cardboard using white rice grains will also look very beautiful. You also bend the cardboard in half and cut out a Christmas tree on the front part in the very center. Cover the edging with rice and you can add small white beads. And fill the background around the Christmas tree with snowflakes from the same rice. In the center of the card, where there is a hole in the shape of a Christmas tree, or rather in the middle of the folded cardboard, write a congratulatory inscription or the date of the year you are about to celebrate. It turns out to be a very delicate New Year's card. In general, using any white material it is very easy to come up with compositions on the theme of the New Year and winter. These could be snowflakes, snowmen, Christmas trees with snowdrifts on their branches – everything your imagination desires. Stock up on cotton wool, padding polyester, semolina or rice, polystyrene foam and start creating! In our material we have given some examples of photo postcards with similar themes, and the right of choice and creative ingenuity remains yours! Happy New Year to you!
