Cabinet of old metal boxes
The idea of creating furniture from old boxes is being implementedmany designers. Here is another interesting implementation of such an idea, made by the design studio ontwerpduo. The highlight is in the use of zinc boxes, once used in the metalworking industry and which can now be found in garages and workshops.
Nothing extraordinary has been invented. An ordinary wooden frame with niches, into which boxes worn by life are simply inserted.
The boxes are not even restored, they are just good.washed. All scratches, paint chips and dents only add even more to the unique spirit of old-new furniture. Such a cabinet will look appropriate not only in a home workshop or garage, but also in a living room or kitchen in an urban or rough-peasant style.
