Cabinet of old metal boxes
The idea of creating furniture from old boxes embodiesMany designers. Here is another interesting implementation of this idea, executed by the design studio ontwerpduo. A highlight is the use of zinc boxes, once used in the metalworking industry and which can now be found in garages and workshops. 
Nothing extraordinary has been invented. An ordinary wooden frame with niches, where just insert the life-battered boxes. 
Boxes are not even restored, just fineCleaned. All scratches, chipped paint and bruises only impart an even more peculiar spirit to the old-new furniture. Such a cabinet would be appropriate to look not only in the home workshop or garage, but also in the living room or kitchen in an urban or coarse-peasant style.
