Christmas tree of felt: a master class with photos
In this workshop, I will tell you how to sew Christmas treesfrom felt and decorate them with coarse twine. Pleasant work under the evening series - and an interesting suspension at the exit. In the last publication we already told how to sew. Today's article differs slightly from it, especially since both types of pendants are sewn on one pattern. You can sew different Christmas trees to make a peculiar set: the same shape and base, but different decor - sure, the composition with such Christmas trees will look amazing!
In order to sew a Christmas tree made of felt with a twine, take:
green felt; brown felt; floss natural color or tone tone twine; twine; filler; needle; scissors; paper and marker for the pattern; Felt pen to translate the pattern on the felt.
Felt Christmas tree: master class with photos and descriptions
We offer you a pattern. Cut the triangle of the Christmas tree, rounding the corners. Apply the pattern to the felt and cut two triangles. Also to the tree cut out the billet for the trunk. To do this, fold the felt in half and cut a rectangle out of it, without touching the fold of the scissors - well, perhaps a little bit to round the edges. The barrel is unfolded and sewn to one of the triangles exactly in the middle of the base with a looped seam. Apply one more to the green triangle, angles and sides are combined; both triangles are cleaved. We bend the trunk in the direction of the second triangle and pin the trunk now. Sew the barrel to the triangle with the same stitch seam. Now you need to decorate the surface of the Christmas tree. For this you need twine. We put it on the felt, each bend fixing stitch floss. We spread the rope arbitrarily, you can lay out patterns or make a chaotic layout of the cord. Well, if the last round of twine will be on the trunk, however, this is not necessary. You can decorate both sides of the Christmas tree. Take care of the suspension. To do this, fold the twine of the required length in half, and tie the ends in a knot. We begin to sew a felt Christmas tree, passing along the perimeter. At the top of an isosceles triangle, we sew the suspension. Be sure to leave a hole for stuffing. We put in it a little filler. We sew up a hole - the suspension is ready. Eva Casio specifically for the site Previous article: Next article:
