Chrono-shredder: wall calendar that destroys time
Time inexorably passes, runs away, floats away, andIt is impossible to return the past moments of life. But humanity too often forgets about the fleetingness of time and wastes precious seconds on useless, unnecessary things and actions. Designer Susanna Hertrich created the so-called Chrono-Shredder, which provides a physical reminder that all things in this world are impermanent, and we can never return time.
Chrono Shredder is, at first glance, a simplewall calendar in a red frame. The highlight is that the frame has a small paper shredder, commonly known as a shredder, built into it. As the day progresses, the sheet of paper with today's date gradually falls into the shredder, hour by hour, minute by minute, eventually leaving behind tangled threads of paper, clearly demonstrating the passage of time.
Susanna counts her wall calendara kind of work of art, constantly active and changing: each day slowly turns into shreds in real time, the slightest changes are visible already in the first hour, if you watch carefully.
So far such a funny thing with a deep meaningIt is not created for sale, but the designer plans to release a limited number of calendars, which could become a very original gift with a hint for friends who are constantly late, in a hurry or lazy.
All this time, irreversibly lost, receives material existence in the form of shredded paper...
