Modular origami Christmas tree can be beautifulinterior decoration for the New Year holiday, an entertaining craft for school or kindergarten for the New Year or an extravagant gift. The modular origami Christmas tree contains 329 green modules. The size of the modules is 1/32 of an A4 sheet (317 modules) and 12 modules measuring 1/64 of an A4 sheet. The top of the tree is decorated with a star made of 45 orange modules measuring 1/64 of an A4 sheet. Our Christmas tree contains six separate parts. The first upper part of the tree is assembled from 12 green modules measuring 1/64 of an A4 sheet. First row: 6 green modules. Second row: 6 green modules. We connect the modules of the first and second rows (see photo).
The second part of the Christmas tree contains 16 green modules. The size of the modules for this and all subsequent parts of the tree is 1/32 of an A4 sheet. The second part is folded like the first, only in the first and second rows there are 8 modules.
The third piece contains 35 green modules.First row: 10 green modules. Second row: 10 green modules. Third row: 10 green modules. Fourth row: 5 green modules put on every other one (skipping two ends of the modules of the 3rd row).
The fourth piece of the tree contains 54 green onesmodules. First row: 12 green modules. Second row: 12 green modules. Third row: 12 green modules. Fourth row: 12 green modules. Fifth row: 6 green modules put on every other one (skipping two ends of the modules of the 4th row).
The fifth piece of the Christmas tree contains 84 green modules.First row: 14 green modules. Second row: 14 green modules. Third row: 14 green modules. Fourth row: 7 green modules. We assemble a branch of our Christmas tree from 5 modules. It is necessary to assemble seven such branches.
We put the branches on the free corners of the modules of the 3rd row.
The sixth piece contains 128 green modules.First row: 16 green modules. Second row: 16 green modules. Third row: 16 green modules. Fourth row: 16 green modules. Fifth row: 8 green modules.
We assemble a branch from 7 green modules. It is necessary to assemble eight such branches.
We put the branches on the free corners of the modules of the fourth row.
Assembling a star for the Christmas tree. First row: 10 orange modules placed on the short side. Second row: 10 orange modules placed on the long side.
Third row: 10 orange modules on the long side.
Fourth row: 10 orange modules on the long side, put two modules on two inner corners for three rows, then skip two corners.
Fifth row: Place 5 orange modules on the short side and put them on the inner corners of four rows.
We glue a small cone from a 2.5 cm x 2.5 cm square of orange paper and glue it between the rays of the star.
