So, let's start knitting a spectacular pullover with the “braids” pattern.In our calculations we were guided by the sizefinished product thirty-six/thirty-eight and forty/forty-two (data given in brackets). For this you will need: seven hundred (seven hundred fifty) grams of grey-brown yarn of the brand "Superbingo Lana Grossa"; classic and circular knitting needles number seven.Patterns used: Stockinette stitch:knit rows with knit stitches, purl rows with purl stitches. Purl stitch: knit rows with purl stitches, purl rows with knit stitches, and in circular rows we make all purl stitches. Braid pattern A From the first to the sixth rows we use the front surface. Seventh row: leave four loops on an additional knitting needle behind the fabric, four front loops, and then knit four front loops from the additional knitting needle. Eighth row: knit eight purl stitches. Ninth and tenth rows: create eight loops with the front surface. Then repeat knitting from the first to the tenth rows.Braid pattern B From the first to the sixth rowsuse the front surface. We determine the knitting density (pattern A): seventeen loops in eighteen rows create a fabric with an area of ten by ten centimeters.Description of the knitting process We create the frontside of the product: using knitting needles number seven, cast on seventy-two (seventy-eight) loops and then distribute them as follows: edge loop, fourteen (seventeen) loops with the front surface, then make one loop with the back surface, eight loops with pattern A, one loop with the back surface, then knit two loops with the front surface, one loop with the back surface, eight loops with pattern A, eight loops with pattern B, one loop with the back surface, then knit two loops with the front surface, one loop with the back surface, eight loops with pattern B, one loop with the back surface, fourteen (seventeen) loops with the front surface, finish with an edge loop.To make a waist, you need to do it from twosides, decrease in all twelfth rows twice by one loop, and then at a height of eighteen (nineteen) centimeters from the beginning of knitting, add one loop once on both sides in the next twelfth row and one loop once on the next tenth row. Next, at a height of thirty-five (thirty-seven) centimeters from the beginning of knitting, to create armholes, you need to close one loop on both sides once, and then in all second rows seven times by one loop. Then, at a height of fifty-five (fifty-seven) centimeters from the beginning of knitting, to create bevels along the shoulders, close three (four) loops once on both sides, and then in all second rows three loops once and two loops twice (three times by three loops). And at the same time, four times in all second rows, knit the first and second front loops of the braid pattern together with the front one and four times the final two front loops of the braid pattern, making a joint knitting with the front one before the final loop, created together with the front one. At a height of fifty-eight (sixty) centimeters from the beginning of knitting, put aside the remaining twenty-eight loops. Create the back of the product It is necessary to dial sixty-four (seventy) loops and work with the front surface. We create decreases and increases of loops according to the same principle as on the front side. Then, at a height of forty-eight centimeters from the beginning of knitting, to create an armhole, we close one loop once, and then in all second rows we decrease eleven times by one loop. At a height of sixty centimeters from the beginning of knitting, we close the remaining loops. Making the right sleeve We knit in the same way as making the left sleeve, but in place of the pattern with braids B, we use pattern A.We assemble the product. Each detail of the pulloverneed to be slightly moistened and laid out according to the pattern. Sew along the shoulder lines. Transfer the twenty-eight loops that were set aside on the neckline of the front and back to circular knitting needles, close them in a circle and then continue knitting with the pattern for another seven centimeters, after which we close all the loops.
