Such a detail can bring a highlight to any New Year's interior: they can be hung at least on the Christmas tree, even on the fireplace. The cross-stitching of such New Year's socks will not take you much time, because it has a small scheme that will be understandable even to the beginning master. In this article we will tell you how to make by yourself unique Christmas souvenirs with cross stitching: decorative socks and heart-pendants. 
To create New Year's souvenirs, youwill require: a canvas of white or any other color of linen fabric (Aida); thread-mulina of various colors; fabric basis for the second side of the sock; thread-lureks; material for stuffing socks (sintepon or any other); a pattern for embroidery that can be printed on a color device; chalk for working on a fabric or a simple pencil; needle; hoop small diameter; cord or decorative ribbon. 
It is necessary to prepare all necessary materials forwork: the foundation-canvas must be cut and processed with an iron, the edge that is crumbled, treated with an overlock or with a hand-stitched seam. In order for the process of embroidery to pass easier and faster, you need to use a pencil or a chalk to make a ten-ten-cell layout on the canvas, then embroider the canvas and stretch it. Focusing on the color scheme background, we select all the necessary shades of thread-mulina. The main pattern, considering the scheme, create stitches "cross", while embroidery should start from any corner for your convenience. Greater elegance and festiveness of embroidery will give some shadow solution, in which the main patterns you will process along the contour with brilliant lurex threads. You can also fully embroider them elements of the pattern (snowflakes, for example). 
After the embroidery is completed, it is necessaryremove from the finger. Then put for a little while in cold water with a soapy solution to remove from the embroidery the markings of the pencil. Then you need to carefully place the embroidery on a light mahr fabric. If necessary, treat the embroidery with a non-flammable iron through a thin fabric. 
Next, cut the sock from the canvas, whilemaking a small indent from the contour (one - one and a half centimeters). After the sock is cut, it is also advised to work over the edge on the overlock or to sew by hand sewing. Then we combine the product with the faces and sew them along the edge in such a way that the shovchik is placed along the contour that was previously created on the canvas-base. We turn the product on the front part through a small not sewn edge of the socks. Then diligently straightened shovchiki, carefully fill the socks with synthepone or any other material. In the remaining hole we insert a loop made of a ribbon or decorative cord, then carefully sew a small hole. 
Our decorative socks are ready! Another souvenir, which you can please your family for the New Year holidays, there will be pendants in the form of hearts. Despite the fact that they decorate their simple cross-stitch embroidery, they look very original and elegant. They can decorate a Christmas tree or present to close people. 
To create New Year's heart-pendants, youYou will need practically the same materials as for socks: a canvas of white or any other color of linen fabric (Aida); fabric basis, which has a clear binding of threads (linen cloth); thread-mulina of various colors; fabric basis for the second side of the sock; thread-lureks; material for stuffing socks (sintepon or any other); a pattern for embroidery that can be printed on a color device; chalk for working on a fabric or a simple pencil; needle for embroidery and classical needle; hoop small diameter; scissors; cord or decorative ribbon. It is necessary to prepare all the necessary materials for the work: the foundation-canvas must be cut and processed with an iron, the edge, which is crumbled, treated with an overlock or with a hand-stitched seam. If necessary, treat the embroidery not with a hot iron through a thin fabric. 
Next, cut two hearts out of the canvasfor each suspension, while making a small indent from the contour (one - one and a half centimeters). After the hearts are cut, they need to be put on the heart of the fabric and treated with a suture. We combine the product with the wrong sides and sew them along the edge in such a way that the shovchik is placed along the contour that was previously created on the canvas-base.
