Cockerel is the symbol of the New Year 2017. The size of the cockerel is 17x14 cm. It is made from the remains of yarn of different colors and textures. Trim with sequins, eyes - buttons.
Description of the cockerel:First, knit two circles (20 double crochets each), then tie these two with 16 single crochets. The remaining 5 single crochets on each side are knitted in a circle around the body. Row 1 - 10 single crochets Row 2 - 20 single crochets Rows 3-6 - 30 single crochets Rows 7-15 - add one single crochet at a time. Total 39 single crochets. Rows 16-17 - knit with "grass" yarn. You can put a surprise inside the cockerel: a Christmas tree decoration or a chocolate egg. Tail: Row 1 - 17 ch Row 2 - 1 ch, 17 sc Knit 9 elements of the tail from yarn of different colors and textures. Then carefully sew to the body. Wing: 1 row - 9 ch. 2 row - 1 ch, 9 sc 3 row - 1 ch, 6 sc, 2 ch. 4 row - 1 ch, 8 sc 5 row - 1 ch, 4 sc, 2 ch. 6 row - 1 ch, 6 sc. Knit 2 parts of the wings, sew to the body. We knit the comb, beard, and beak immediately on the circumference (head). The yarn on the body is three strands thick, on the comb in two strands, on the beak and beard in one strand.
