Classy homemade vases made of wood and glass tubes
This idea may be useful for designers, as such small flower vases look very original and beautiful, and therefore can serve as an excellent interior decoration.
True, to make them you will need a latheand drilling machines, which hardly everyone has at home. On the other hand, any turner will make all the necessary parts for you for a small fee. First, you need to solder the tubes on one side, using any suitable method (search the Internet for how to do this). You can do without soldering by replacing the glass tubes with tall medical flasks, which, by the way, are much easier to find on sale. Next, you need to apply a decorative strip to the top of the tubes or flasks. There are a lot of options for how to implement this, from painting to gluing designer paper and inserting bushings of the appropriate size inside.
The second stage is the production of the base. First, a light bulb-shaped blank is created from a wooden block on a lathe.
Then, holes of the same diameter as the glass tubes (or flasks) are drilled into these blanks using a drilling machine.
The finished bases are varnished and placed on the tubes.
That's it, the original DIY vases are ready. All that's left is to pour water into them and put flowers.
