Funny snail origami for beginners, try to do it with your child.
In this article we will look at making a funnyorigami snails. It is not difficult to make, but origami schemes for beginners are often not clearly described: if you do not understand one move and miss it, then the figure will not fold as it should. I will try to present the text as clearly as possible. An origami snail is easy to make. Take everything that is needed for this: 1. A sheet of A4 paper (you can take white, yellow, pink or brown); 2. A piece of black and white colored paper; 3. Scissors, glue, pencil.
Cut out an even square from a sheet of pink paper and fold it diagonally.
Then we fold the resulting triangle in half.
From the left part of the resulting figure, take a fold and move it to the middle, then open it, and, pressing the tip to the top, form a square:
Turn the figure over (the figure looks like this from behind):
Now be more careful:we need to make a double rhombus out of our figure. We bend the right part of our figure (the one with the longest side) towards us and open it up, widen it on the sides, as shown in the photo.
Now we press.
Without turning the figures over, we make bookmarks: we bend two side sides towards the middle so that they evenly touch the diagonal.
Then fold the top side down.
Having made these three bookmarks, we return all three folded sides to their original position and lift the wide bottom side up to the transverse fold line:
Then we bend its side edges to the center and press them to the figure:
After this we need to rotate our figure anddo the same with its back side (that is, also first make three bookmarks, then open and press the bottom one to the top side, then fold the side edges). The photo shows the resulting craft.
Now bend two lines just below the center, as shown in the next photo. These bends are necessary to form a head and tail for our future origami snail:
We bend the two lower ends of the figure upwards:
On the left will be the snail's head, and on the right - its tail.
Now we lower one of the "wings"down, then bend it in half upwards, approximately in the area adjacent to the base of the tail (but try to make sure that the tip of the "wing" is close to the top).
We bend this tip in half downwards from the outside.
Then you need to lower the resulting fold - "wings" - down and hide it inside the craft (forming a shell):
Now you need to turn the origami craft over. With the second "wing" you need to do the same as with the first: lower it, then bend it in half upwards, then fold it in half downwards and remove the resulting fold inward. Now we should have an almost finished model. We should slightly cut the upper corner of the head - we will get antennae.
There is only one last detail left:We glue a spiral of colored paper onto the shell and eyes of the origami snail. The eyes can be glued to the "antennae", or to the "neck", as done in the original example.
