First, we need to make a pattern according to the doll's dimensions, then use a pencil to mark a line for the seam.
We cut out our pattern and try it on the doll.
Transfer the paper pattern onto the pre-prepared fabric, resulting in three pieces: the front part and two back elements.
Now you need to cut out the details of Tilda's dress, taking into account the allowances.
Then you need to hem all the elements of the dress from the bottom, where the facing is (cut off the corners of the allowance so that no threads are visible from under the edges of the finished dress).
Baste the hem (for neatness, you can fold 1 cm of fabric). Secure the dress parts with pins or safety pins.
Starting from the end of the facing, sew from the back.
And to prevent the finished dress from sticking out, make notches on the inside of each piece.
Turn the resulting piece inside out and iron each piece.
Fold the dress elements with needles so that one line is formed from the armpit to the end and from the armpit to the waist of the dress. Iron all seams.
Iron the dress again while folded.Machine stitch the lace, then use a single stitch to finish the dress's fit, top, and back seams. It would be appropriate to secure the shoulders with buttons, as well as attach a neat bow to the lace.
