Half-girth of the chest - 24 cm. Half-girth of the neck - 11 cm. This should be left about 10 cm so that the clothes are loose in fit and do not restrict the child's movements. This will allow the baby to feel as comfortable as possible in the romper. The peculiarity of the romper is that this type of clothing does not have a side seam, so the front and back are made together, this will somewhat facilitate the sewing process. CUTTING AND SEWING A SANDBOX When youWhen cutting, do not forget to take into account the tolerances on the seams in the region of 7 mm. to a centimeter. After marking the middle of the front part of the product, you need to process the fastener mechanism. When sewing, fold the allowance made to the wrong side, and stitch the cut that is at the bottom of the fastener, having first folded it inward. Sew all the step seams, then the seam that is in the middle of the back and front of the romper, while securing the fastener element - at the very end using a cross stitch. The lower part of the product must be sewn so that you can insert the elastic later. Next, sew the sleeves. Baste the loops. Sew the collar with a bias facing into the neckline. When the romper is already sewn, it must be ironed and sewn on buttons and threaded in the elastic. After such simple work you will get a very practical and comfortable item of clothing for a child, which will please the baby and mother for a long time.
The main thing is that you sew clothes for yourchild, in accordance with the physiological characteristics and lifestyle of the baby. The main thing is that the clothes do not restrict the child's movements, are not heavy in weight, but at the same time warm. It is important that the baby's future outfits are not made of synthetic materials that can disrupt the proper breathing of the skin, therefore all children's patterns are made to work only with natural fabrics. Children's clothing must be sewn from hygroscopic, fairly soft materials, so that they are also easy to wash.
