Create a skirt-klesh yourself. We begin with the creation of pattern
Despite the fact that comfortable trousers and jeansfilled the wardrobes of modern women, and business ladies prefer formal suits, many women still choose elegant women's clothes. Among them has always been a flared skirt. It gives a woman's outfit a special tenderness and elegance. The flared skirt was originally created to emphasize the beauty of the natural female body. Any woman who has a flared skirt in her wardrobe is very familiar with the feeling of lightness and freedom, thanks to the falling folds and flying fabric. And if a woman has never worn such a skirt style, then this must be done without fail. Sew your own unique and inimitable flared skirt!
Getting Started Before you get startedWhen cutting out the skirt, we recommend soaking the fabric in hot water for about an hour. This procedure is called decorating and is necessary for shrinking the fabric. A flared skirt is quite common in the current fashion trend. In addition to the skirt itself, using this cut, you can very easily make a fashionable dress. Materials required for work: - a piece of fabric 3 meters long and 1.5 meters wide; - paper. First, make a pattern on paper. The piece of paper should be the size of the skirt: its width should be half the circumference plus two centimeters. The paper must be cut into vertical strips. Then apply the paper itself with the cut strips in an extended form to the fabric: from the fold to the edge. The fabric should be laid out in one layer. You can adjust the width of the flare of the skirt yourself when cutting, as you wish. The wider you spread the flare, the wider the skirt will be. According to the cutting rules, it is wiser to make a deeper flare in the middle of the skirt, less on the sides. So, using the cut paper, draw a semicircle of the skirt. Cut the unused fabric into frills, about 17 cm wide (keep in mind that in finished form they will be about 15 cm), the width at the bottom of the skirt should be about 6 meters. In addition, you need another frill, the length and width of which is equal to the bottom of your skirt. From the remaining fabric, cut a belt, 9 cm wide (in finished form, its size will be about 3 cm), about 2.5 meters long. Do not forget to make a seam allowance of 1 cm.
One more nuance to protect the skirt from deformationmake seams on both sides, regardless of the fact that there is a fold in the fabric on one side. For the fastener, you will also need to add about 4 cm.
Advice:When laying out the fabric, pay attention that the center of the front and back panels should coincide with the diagonal of the fabric, while on the sides there should be a straight interlacing of threads. If this condition is met, the skirt will look much better. With all the listed parameters of the fabric, the length of your skirt will be about 95 cm (80 cm skirt itself plus 15 cm flare). At the waist - 100 cm. If your waist is up to 80 cm, then about 20 cm will go to the wrap. If more - then when cutting, increase the area of the small semicircle. If less - then the wrap will be accordingly larger. In this case, the wrap can not be increased, because such a skirt will look very feminine on the hips.
