The main thing is to arm yourself with desire and patience, and then you can get very original decorations from ribbons. We present to your attention a master class on how to make a simple and at the same time bright flower from satin ribbons. To create such a flower you will need:
- red satin ribbon with a width of 2.5 cm
- brocade
- decorative half-bead
- felt base
- glue gun
- scissors
- tweezers
- candle and good mood.
To make such a petal you needtake a piece of tape about 6 cm long and fold it in half lengthwise. Then secure the edge with tweezers to form a corner, cut with scissors and melt over a candle. Tweezers help to secure the tape well when creating such petals, so that the petal is uniform.
Next, take the petal, unfold it and bend the edges of the ribbon outward, forming neat folds. Use tweezers to clamp the folds and melt over a candle.
We get a beautiful sharp petal.
For this flower we used 23 petals. But their number can be varied depending on how lush the flower you want to get in the end.
Now we take the finished petals and beginattach them to the felt base using a glue gun. The felt base can be replaced with any other piece of fabric, but felt copes with this task very well, due to the fact that it does not unravel.
In this flower we placed the petals in three tiers, placing each subsequent tier between the petals of the previous one.
Using the same principle, we make small petals from silver brocade and glue them in the middle of the flower. We complete the composition with a decorative center. This is how bright the flower turned out.
In our case, we used it on a bandage.for hair, although it will look great on a hair band or headband. The color of the selected ribbon will also determine how bright or delicate the flower will be, there are no restrictions here.
