This is a great idea - to sew for a doll Barbiea two-in-one skirt. It does not have the wrong side, both are facial, so you can just turn it out - and put it on like a new skirt. Such a skirt is a sun-transformer! If you have any leftover cloth after sewing orclothes that you no longer wear - this can be used to replenish the doll wardrobe. Sewing a skirt-sun will take less than an hour. What do we need for sewing?
- Two round flaps of different fabric about 18 centimeters in diameter (in order to sew a longer skirt, cut out a larger circle)
- Roller shaped cutter or scissors curly
- Punch for 1.25 inches or simple scissors and compasses
- Disappearing tissue marker
- Elastic band about 2.5 cm wide
How to sew a double-sided skirt-sun? Step 1: Fold the two fabric circles face-to-face and sew around the circumference, retracting from the edge approximately 5 millimeters (or the edge of the presser foot). Step 2: Trim the cutter or scissors around the circumference behind the seam. Be extremely careful not to damage the seam in any way. Step 3: Using the compasses, you should draw a circle in the center of the future skirt - and cut with scissors. If there is a suitable punch - apply it for this purpose. To certainly find the center of the circle, it can be folded in four. The corner will be the center. Mark it with a marker. Step 4: Turn out the skirt and iron it. Step 5: Take the elastic band and fold it up, wrapping it around the untreated edge of the fabric in the center of the skirt. Sew around the circumference with a zigzag stitch. Cut off the excess part of the gum. Put on a skirt on a Barbie doll or ask your daughter to do it. So fun to watch girls play withtheir dolls. They really like to dress them up and it's delicious! You can sew, for example, two skirts-a flip-flop - and it turns out that the doll will have as many as four skirt variants!
