We create universal crafts from wooden clothespins with our own hands
I found a whole one in my grandmother's attic in the villagea bag of wooden clothespins and set up a workshop on the terrace. It turned out that you can make a lot of cute toys and souvenirs from clothespins! To make your own crafts from clothespins you will need: - clothespins - glue - cardboard - paints - beads, fittings.First I made some funny little yellow chicks forflower pot decorations. These decorations look very original. I painted the clothespins with yellow gouache, glued on yellow-painted cardboard faces and wings with PVA glue, and red cardboard combs on top. I drew black eyes and red beaks. The chickens turned out to be like puppet theater actors. This means you can make many more clothespin characters and put on real shows.Soon I had a butterfly, a ladybug,Crocodile Gena, Cheburashka, a kitten named Gav and many other characters. I made the cow's paws from a white rope, with black beads at the ends, and a ribbon with a golden bell bead on the cow's neck. I glued on ready-made eyes from a sewing accessories store.Decorations also come out great from clothespins. For the tree, you need to paint the clothespins brown and glue a green crown to one and a Christmas tree to the other. You can make a magic well with the kids from the clothespins and a cardboard toilet paper roll.First, you need to cut the cylinder, taking into accountthe height of the clothespin. So, first, each clothespin needs to be divided in half, after removing the springs. Then grease the surface of the cylinder with glue, as well as the halves of the clothespins on all sides. Then they are glued to the cylinder so that the edge of each clothespin is directed upward, then wrap with rope and leave overnight to dry. In the meantime, it is necessary to glue the roof slope from the halves of the clothespins. The second slope needs to be made in the same way. The slopes can be glued using "liquid nails" from a hardware store. We will make a support from two more halves of the clothespins. To do this, you need to attach the halves to the inner surface of the cardboard cylinder (the rounded part should be on top) and glue the roof with the same "liquid nails". All that remains is to paint the well, place the scenery and put on shows for your children! Here are some interesting crafts you can make from ordinary old wooden clothespins.
