Crocheted Christmas napkin: description and scheme

Crochet napkin This crocheted Christmas napkinvery popular in the circles of avid knitters. In which only variations do not perform it! Such a nice festive decor with joy every year will decorate your house at a time when there is snow and frost outside the window. Napkin consists of 12 Christmas trees. If you take a closer look at the scheme of the New Year napkin more closely, you will see that 9 points are drawn on each Christmas tree. These are beads. According to the author of the scheme, before starting work you need to stitch 108 beads on a thread, and then in the places indicated in the scheme move the bead to the hook and knit a crochet column so that the bead remains on the front side - a stylized Christmas ball. I knitted without beads so that I could put a vase or a plate on a napkin. The diameter of the finished napkin, taking into account the selected yarn and hook - 40 cm. How to crochet a Christmas napkin

For knitting a crochet napkin, I needed:

hook No. 1.3 mm; acrylic yarn Etamin YarnArt(180 m by 30 g); tailor pins with wire ears (and not beads on the ends!); gauze or fine chintz for steaming; iron; beads - optional.

Crochet napkin: scheme description

Scheme to the napkin Many needlewomen to the scheme - the mass of claims;they say, lies down in a wave, and that's it. Many have even adjusted the scheme to have 11 trees and not 12. But I do not agree on a napkin of 11 trees: 12 months, the New Year also comes at 12 ... No, the number of trees should be just that! I started to knit this napkin three years ago, but I abandoned it because of the wave itself. This year, pulled herself together and finished up strictly according to the scheme. I moistened the finished napkin, otparila and ... beautiful, even napkin is ready! Job Description Core 1 row. In the diagram, the beginning of knitting is 8 air loops, closed in a ring with a deaf loop. In recent years, I prefer to start knitting any napkins with an amigurumi ring. Then - 3 air lift loops, * 2 air loops, 1 crochet column *. Repeat from * to * 10 more times, then 2 air loops and close the row with a blind loop to the third air loop of the beginning of the row. 2 row. Three air lift loops, * three air loops, double crochet into the column of the previous row * - repeat from * to * to the end of the row. Finish the row with three air loops and a solid loop in the third loop of the beginning of the row. 3 row. Three air loops, double crochet into the dead loop of the previous row; * 3 air loops, 2 columns with 1 nakida in the column of the previous row * - repeat from * to * to the end of the row. Finish the row with three air loops and a solid loop in the third loop of the beginning of the row. 4 row. 6 air loops, 2 double crochets in the column of the previous row, 1 air loop, * 2 double crochets in the column of the previous row, 3 sk, 2 double crochets to the next column of the previous row, one air loop * - repeat from * until * end of row. Finish the row with a double crochet into the blind loop of the previous row and close the blind loop to the third loop of the beginning of the same row. 5 row. With two blind loops or single crochets, go forward two loops. 6 air loops, three double crochets around the arch of the previous row. * 1 VP, 3 double crochets around the next arch of the previous row, 3 VP, 3 double crochets around the same arch of the previous row *. Knit from * to * to the end of the row. End of row: 1 ce, 2 double crochets around the first arch of the previous row. Close the row with a blind loop to the third loop of the beginning of this row. 6 row. Go two blind loops or columns without nakida in the middle of the arch of the previous row. 6 VP, 4 tbsp. with 1 double crochet in the same arch of the previous row, * 2 ce, 4 tbsp. with a double crochet in the next arch of the previous row, 3 parasl., 4 tbsp. with 1 double crochet in the same arch of the previous row * - repeat from * to * to the end of the row. End of the series: 2 ce, 3 tbsp. with one double bow in the first arch of the previous row, close the row with a deaf loop to the third air loop of the beginning of this row. 7 row. Make two blind loops to go to the middle of the first arch of the previous row. 3 vp, 3 columns with 1 double crochet around the same arch; 3 VP, 4 double crochets around the same arch; * 3 vp, 4 double crochets around the next arch, 3 ept, 4 double crochets around the same arch * - repeat from * to * to the end of the row. Finish the row with three air loops and a solid loop in the third loop of the beginning of the same row. Thread to fasten, cut, hide tip. Christmas trees Each Christmas tree knits separately. First knit completely independent; during the mating of the second and each subsequent tree, we attach it with the tip of each “branch” to the corresponding branch of the neighbor tree (indicated by arrows in the diagram). The last Christmas tree is knitted by attaching each branch to the corresponding branches of the surrounding trees. At the end of knitting each tree (perhaps, except the last one), we cut the thread, and start a new tree with a new thread. Here I describe the knitting of each row of one tree; all the rest fit in exactly the same way, except for the fact that it will be necessary in the course of knitting to tie the Christmas trees together. Pay attention: if the core of the napkin and the binding are knitted in a circle, then the Christmas trees are in rows back and forth. 8 row. We attach a thread to the first arch of the previous row and knit three lifting air loops, then two double crochets around the same arch. Knitting unfold. 9 row. Three lift air loops, two double crochets in the same loop of the previous row; double crochet; three double crochets in the last loop of the previous row. Knitting unfold. 10 row. Three air lift loops; two double crochets in the same loop; 5 double crochets (if you knit with beads, then the third column should have a bead); 3 double crochets in the last loop of the previous row. Expand knitting. 12 row. 6 deaf loops; 3 vp, 2 double crochets in the same loop as the last blind loop; 3 tbsp. double crochet, 3 tbsp. double crochet in one loop. Knitting unfold. 13 row. 3 vp and 2 double crochets in the same loop of the previous row; 7 tbsp. double crochet (if you knit with beads, then in the 1st and 7th column should be on the bead); 3 tbsp. double crochet in the last loop of the previous row. Binding We look at the core of the napkin and determine where its face is, and where the inside is. We knit on the front side - now the rows will again be circular. 25 row. We start to knit from the middle of the "trunk" of any Christmas tree. We do 3 vp lift, double crochet in the same loop of the previous row; 3 vp, column without nakida in the last loop of the trunk; knit 7 vp and counting after the trunk 6 columns - in the sixth we enter the hook and knit the crochet column. Stripping New Year Wipes

Perhaps you, like me, napkin wentwave. What is needed in order to give it a complete look and straighten it. On an ironing board or something like that (with a soft backing, into which you can stick tailor pins and iron at the same time) - I have a computer chair with a spacious seat, covered with a fine chintz - unfold a moistened napkin. It can be moistened in two ways: wrap in a wet towel and leave as such for a few minutes or sprinkle with a spray bottle, roll up and again leave for a few minutes. Lay the wet cloth on the ironing surface inside out. Why inside out? To iron does not violate the embossing crochet. And the excessive smoothness does not hurt exactly the wrong side, especially since it is not intended for prying eyes. We pin one picot with a needle so that the needle point faces the center of the napkin, i.e. we introduce pins not perpendicular to the surface, but at an angle of 30-45 degrees. Then we take the picot on the opposite side of the napkin, pull it (to the maximum, but neatly) - and fix it in the same way with the second pin. We divide each of the resulting halves visually in half and fix them in the same way with pins until all the extreme picos have pins and the napkin magically stretches and straightens. We cover it with a thin fabric (although this is not at all necessary, but in this way you at least do not light-knit yarn) and iron with steam from the center to the edges. Inspect the napkin - and if everything suits you, leave it in such a crucified form, not only to cool, but also to dry out.
