Crocuses of corrugated paper do-it-yourself: master class

Paper crocuses are great stuff forcreate spectacular and vivid compositions. You can use this decor, for example, as a festive table decoration or creating an elegant atmosphere in an interior. Thanks to a rich palette of shades, crocuses can be assembled with colors of any shapes and colors. But this flower looks especially good with other low-growing flowers - muscari, hyacinths and lilies. But how to make realistic crocuses from corrugated paper with your own hands - you will learn in today's master class. We repeated the whole process step by step so that everyone could easily and simply repeat it.

For making crocuses from paper with your own hands you will need:

crepe paper or burgundy, yellow and green crepe paper; durable thread; adhesive sticker or PVA; wire for the stem framework; scissors.

DIY crocuses of corrugated paper: description of work

Getting started with the creation of blanks petals. We cut off a strip of 8 cm wide from a roll of burgundy crepe-paper. We cut the side parts to make separate leaves. We take the first leaf and fold it three times. Then squeeze the resulting strip in the center and twist one turn. We put both halves of the workpiece together. Then extrude the middle strip in the upper part. We create the required number of petals at the rate of 3 (in one row) or 6 (as in a real flower) petals for one crocus. Next, from a piece of corrugated paper of the same size, but yellow, we create miniature stamens. We fold the leaf in half and incise its edge into strips 0.5 mm wide. Twist together two strips, and then wind the tape with stamens on the tip of the wire. Bottom wrapped green crepe stripe. Now you can start the formation of a crocus bud. Before we begin to attach the petals, cut their corners in the bottom. We fix all the petals with a strong thread. Attach the first part. Without cutting the thread, we attach the following petals, in one or in two rows. We cut off the tip of the thread and treat the cerebellum and the crocus stem with green crepe tape. Crocus leaflets narrow, linear. We create them from green paper of any kind, from colored, crepe or crepe paper. For a realistic look, we twist them a little. Then glue them to the pedicel.
