Check out the table of thread colors and symbols.Don't be intimidated by the large size and abundance of flowers. The embroidery of this composition is not as difficult as it seems. But there are no contours, mixing of threads or French knots, which makes the work much easier. You can further verify this by examining the diagram and table.
To embroider the peonies offered to you, you needhave only a share of patience and the desire to have a picturesque picture in a frame. This product will also be a wonderful gift for people close to you. Before starting embroidery, it is recommended to mark all skeins of floss threads so as not to get confused later. The symbols contained in the table and diagram should be placed as labels.
Start working from the upper left corner, corresponding to the first fragment of the diagram. To avoid confusion, mark the canvas using a special marker, which is washed off after finishing the work. For this purpose, squares of ten cells each are drawn on the canvas.
Some craftswomen do embroidery right awayseveral shades, leaving the threads in the needles and without cutting them from the canvas. We do not recommend this option because the threads may become tangled with each other. We consider a more convenient option in which we first go through one shade and then another, embroidering a selected square of 5x5 cells. Try to embroider in such a way that the top thread of each cross is directed in one direction. With this embroidery it will look uniform.
How to care for the finished product.Upon completion of work, the product should be washed and ironed through gauze. However, here it is advisable to follow a number of rules: 1. To prevent the colored threads from fading, they should be washed in cold water. 2. Do not rub the fabric when washing. It is enough that you simply run your soapy hands over the canvas and then rinse it. 3. To make the threads shine, the embroidery needs to be dipped in an aqueous solution of vinegar. 4. When ironing, the embroidery is spread face down on a terry cloth towel. This will prevent the crosses from flattening.
