Decoration of a wooden highchair. The original master class on decoupage for beginners.

Decoupage of furniture - the process is very exciting! It is possible to take as a basis some old thing and with the help of only one primer and several napkins for decoupage to turn it into an exclusive piece of furniture. To renew the product last longer, it is recommended, of course, to cover it with several layers of varnish on top, but, you see, it's not so expensive as buying a handmade author's product. Here is a chair. Photo №1 Decoupage on the tree is easy and pleasant. The wooden surface is well primed, in addition, the napkins for decoupage fit perfectly on it. And so we decided to do decoupage of furniture, photos reflect the whole process in stages. Stulchik this for 10 years. Here is a chair. Photo # 2 To begin with, we wiped a damp cloth with a damp clothdust. Still, it is better to coat a clean, prepared surface with a primer. So, first of all we cover the entire chair with a primer. You can cover with a sponge, for example, for washing dishes, but I used a normal brush. Here is a chair. Picture №3 The next step was to choose the motif of the napkin. Since the chair will "meet the guests," we decided that the inscription "Welcome" would be just right. A three-layer napkin with a repetitive motif measuring 40 * 33 cm. We divided it according to the drawing, cutting the edges manually so that the transitions were not very visible. Here is a chair. Photo №4 Before sticking a napkin on the decoratedsurface, it is necessary to separate the main pattern, i.e. the top layer from the 2 lower layers of the napkin. So it is necessary to act always, when we do decoupage with our own hands with the help of napkins. Here is a chair. Photo №5 After this, you can proceed to glue the napkin on the seat of the chair, and also on the sides of the legs. Glue better on the glue PVA, diluted with water in a proportion of 1: 1 Here is a chair. Photo №6 We are waiting for the napkins to dry. In the meantime, we select the paint, which is in harmony with the colors on the napkin, and color the main part of the chair. In this case it is the lower part of the seat and the legs. Here is a chair. Photo №7 It is necessary to paint and transitions between parts of the napkin. Here is a chair. Photo №8 If you need to draw some fragments of the main picture, you can do this at this stage. Thus, we will get a one-shot drawing. Here is a chair. Photo Number 9 We give our stool time for complete drying. In principle, 30 minutes is enough. Here is a chair. Picture №10 And then completely cover the chair with varnish. Here is a chair.
